The successful candidate will work closely with our leadership team to cultivate donor relationships, secure funding from individuals and foundations, and manage various development activities. The role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the Jewish community, and a passion for nonprofit work.</span></p> <p><strong><span class="s5">What You Will Do</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span class="s5">Fundraising Strategy &amp; Execution</span><span class="s6">: Develop and implement strategies</span><span class="s6"><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>in collaboration with HOW leadership</span><span class="s6"><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>to increase donations and funding opportunities, including individual donations, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and foundation grants. </span></li> <li>Donor Relations<span class="s6">: Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, partners, and stakeholders. Provide regular updates and ensure a high level of donor engagement. </span></li> <li>Fundraising Campaigns<span class="s6">: Collaborate with<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s6">board members and senior leadership<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s6">to<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s6">develop and implement annual<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s6">fundraising strategy, online and mail fundraising efforts,<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s6">promote<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s6">special events and targeted<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s6">fundraising initiatives. </span></li> <li>Data Management<span class="s6">: Maintain accurate donor records and track donations using the organization’s CRM system. Provide regular reports on fundraising progress. </span></li> <li>Community Engagement<span class="s6">: Represent the organization at local Jewish community events, outreach activities, and network-building events to strengthen relationships with community leaders.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>What You'll Bring to the Job</strong></p> <ul> <li class="s9"><span class="s5">Experience</span><span class="s6">:<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s6">3+</span><span class="s6"><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or related fields. Experience in a Jewish nonprofit or faith-based organization is a plus.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span></li> <li class="s9"><span class="s5">Skills</span><span class="s6">: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in grant writing and donor communication. Familiarity with donor databases and fundraising platforms.</span><span class="s6"><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;Experience with Little Green Light CRM a plus.</span></li> <li class="s9"><span class="s5">Knowledge</span><span class="s6">: Understanding of Jewish culture, values, and community dynamics</span><span class="s6">, as well as comfort with diversity of religious practice.</span></li> <li class="s9"><span class="s5">Organization &amp; Initiative</span><span class="s6">: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span></li> <li class="s9"><span class="s5">Passion</span><span class="s6">: A genuine passion for the mission of the organization and commitment to making a positive difference in the community.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span></li> </ul> <p class="s7"><strong><span class="s5">Hours: </span></strong><span class="s6">This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20-2</span><span class="s6">4</span><span class="s6"><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>hours per week.
