Honor Foods is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee and optimize our accounts payable function while building strong vendor relationships and guiding a high-performing team.</p> <p data-start="565" data-end="759">This is your opportunity to play a critical role in the financial operations of a growing company, where your expertise in NetSuite, process management, and team leadership will shine.</p> <hr data-start="761" data-end="764"> <h2 data-start="766" data-end="785">What You’ll Do</h2> <ul data-start="786" data-end="1754"> <li data-start="786" data-end="917"> <p data-start="788" data-end="917"><strong data-start="788" data-end="806">Lead &amp; Develop</strong>: Supervise and mentor the Accounts Payable Specialist, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.</p> </li> <li data-start="918" data-end="1040"> <p data-start="920" data-end="1040"><strong data-start="920" data-end="943">Leverage Technology</strong>: Use your NetSuite know-how to streamline invoice processing, payments, and vendor management.</p> </li> <li data-start="1041" data-end="1171"> <p data-start="1043" data-end="1171"><strong data-start="1043" data-end="1063">Vendor Relations</strong>: Maintain strong partnerships with vendors while resolving discrepancies and negotiating favorable terms.</p> </li> <li data-start="1172" data-end="1287"> <p data-start="1174" data-end="1287"><strong data-start="1174" data-end="1205">Invoice &amp; Payment Oversight</strong>: Ensure timely, accurate invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations.</p> </li> <li data-start="1288" data-end="1401"> <p data-start="1290" data-end="1401"><strong data-start="1290" data-end="1312">Expense Management</strong>: Oversee employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring compliance and quick turnaround.</p> </li> <li data-start="1402" data-end="1529"> <p data-start="1404" data-end="1529"><strong data-start="1404" data-end="1424">Drive Compliance</strong>: Maintain strong internal controls, support audits, and ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies.</p> </li> <li data-start="1530" data-end="1637"> <p data-start="1532" data-end="1637"><strong data-start="1532" data-end="1557">Month-End &amp; Reporting</strong>: Assist with close activities and deliver meaningful AP reports and insights.</p> </li> <li data-start="1638" data-end="1754"> <p data-start="1640" data-end="1754"><strong data-start="1640" data-end="1666">Continuous Improvement</strong>: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce errors, and maximize efficiency.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="1756" data-end="1759"> <h2 data-start="1761" data-end="1788">What We’re Looking For</h2> <ul data-start="1789" data-end="2181"> <li data-start="1789" data-end="1879"> <p data-start="1791" data-end="1879">Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field <strong data-start="1843" data-end="1849">OR</strong> 5+ years in AP supervision.</p> </li> <li data-start="1880" data-end="1944"> <p data-start="1882" data-end="1944">3–5 years proven supervisory experience in Accounts Payable.</p> </li> <li data-start="1945" data-end="1984"> <p data-start="1947" data-end="1984">ERP expertise (NetSuite preferred).</p> </li> <li data-start="1985" data-end="2033"> <p data-start="1987" data-end="2033">Strong GAAP knowledge and audit familiarity.</p> </li> <li data-start="2034" data-end="2108"> <p data-start="2036" data-end="2108">Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.</p> </li> <li data-start="2109" data-end="2181"> <p data-start="2111" data-end="2181">A problem-solver with strong communication and leadership abilities.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="2183" data-end="2186"> <h2 data-start="2188" data-end="2205">Why Join Us?</h2> <p data-start="2206" data-end="2478">At Honor Foods (a Burris Logistics company), you’ll be part of a culture built on teamwork, growth, and innovation.
