Project Manager, Private Equity at Guidepoint

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Overview:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Insights product delivers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events to Guidepoint’s institutional and corporate clients. Teleconference transcripts are housed in a searchable portal covering diverse industries and topics, helping clients make informed decisions. All content features Advisors from Guidepoint’s global network and is curated by former investors, sell-side analysts, and industry professionals.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As the Project Manager on the Insights team, you will serve as both a hands-on recruiter and a coach for our team of Associates and Research Managers. You will lead by example—actively sourcing, engaging, and securing high-quality advisors while also training and mentoring the team to optimize their performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, has strong recruiting and communication skills, and enjoys developing junior talent.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>This is a hybrid position out of our New York office.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify and recruit senior industry experts with private equity exposure for our teleconferences.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone to secure expert participation.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with our moderators to understand subject matter and manage the team to source the best advisors.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Track and manage expert pipelines, ensuring consistent engagement and conversion.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Train and mentor a team of Associates, helping them develop strong recruiting and communication skills.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve results.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Implement best practices in expert recruitment, refining outreach strategies and messaging.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with senior leadership to refine team processes and optimize recruitment efficiency.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Set team goals, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-moving environment.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What You Have:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">2+ years of experience, including at least 1 year as a Project Manager.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Comfort with high-volume outreach (e.g., cold calling, cold emailing).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring or managing junior team members.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage senior executives.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A data-driven approach to outreach, tracking efforts and optimizing conversion rates.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Interested in Private Equity and alternative investment strategies.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What We Offer:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The annual base salary for this position is <strong>$75,000</strong>.
