This role is integral to planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Success in this position requires strong leadership, clear communication, and exceptional problem‑solving abilities to guide cross‑functional teams and ensure project objectives are achieved. This position will be based out of either our Concord, ON or Coquitlam, BC office.</p> <p><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identifying and communicating workplace hazards and correcting or seeking assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.</li> <li>Overseeing all phases of construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budgets, and schedules.</li> <li>Developing detailed project plans encompassing scope, schedules, budgets, resource planning, and risk assessments.</li> <li>Collaborating with project stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.</li> <li>Leading and motivating cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, support, and guidance.</li> <li>Monitoring project performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Managing project budgets, expenditures, and cost‑control measures to achieve financial targets.</li> <li>Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster effective communication and collaboration.</li> <li>Overseeing procurement activities, including bid analysis, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.</li> <li>Preparing and delivering project status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.</li> <li>Facilitating effective problem‑solving and conflict resolution to address challenges efficiently.</li> <li>Championing continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen project processes and outcomes.</li> <li>Conducting post‑project reviews to evaluate performance, successes, challenges, and lessons learned.</li> <li>Performing additional duties as assigned.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Post-secondary degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.</li> <li>Registered as P.Eng/ P.L. Eng with PEO in Ontario or EGBC in British Columbia.</li> <li>Minimum of 8-years of construction and project management experience.</li> <li>Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million.</li> <li>Related construction experience in the rehabilitation of underground infrastructure utilizing various techniques, including Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP), Sprayed-in-Place-Pipe (SIPP), and Sliplining.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and industry best practices. Expertise in fields such as civil sewer construction and trenchless rehabilitation is an asset.</li> <li>Proficient with Primavera, MS Project, and Blue Beam.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong><br>We offer competitive total compensation, meaningful and challenging work, and an engaging and collaborative environment.
