<p><strong>Junior Administrative Support Specialist (3.5 Openings)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Contract:</strong> IDIQ Naval Postgraduate School Research and Educational Support Service (RES) IDIQ<br><strong>Task Order:</strong> NPS Extended Campus Support Services<br><strong>Location:</strong> Monterey, CA (Onsite at NPS)<br><strong>Clearance:</strong> Public Trust<br><strong>Salary:</strong> $42,000 -$45,000</p>

<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking <strong>Junior Administrative Support Specialists</strong> to provide essential administrative and student‑support services for the Naval Postgraduate School’s Extended Campus programs. These roles support academic operations, student services, scheduling, and program coordination within a higher‑education environment. Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting faculty, staff, and students in a dynamic academic setting.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide administrative and student support for academic programs and faculty.</li>
<li>Assist with student records, enrollment coordination, and academic scheduling.</li>
<li>Maintain databases, student information systems, and program documentation.</li>
<li>Support the preparation of correspondence, forms, and administrative reports.</li>
<li>Coordinate meetings, events, and academic activities as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and adherence to institutional processes.</li>
<li>Serve as a reliable point of contact for faculty, staff, and students.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>3 years of administrative student support experience</strong> in an institution of higher education.</li>
<li><strong>BA/BS degree</strong> in administration, logistics, or a related professional discipline.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a <strong>Public Trust</strong> clearance.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Desired Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with <strong>student information systems</strong>, database management, and academic scheduling.</li>
<li>Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.</li>
</ul>
