About the Role

<p>This Social Designer (Seasonal) will support marketing efforts through digital graphic design for MLB events, editorial, brand, sponsorship, ticket sales, advertising, paid content etc. The Designer must be a team player who can balance creativity and tight deadlines in our fast-paced environment.<strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Produce and design daily graphics for all digital and social platforms and ensure the look and feel stays on brand</li> <li>Support Director and Designers on the creation of graphics and design templates for daily and featured concepts</li> <li>Work with editors &amp; social coordinators to understand the project pipeline and objectives</li> <li>Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas</li> <li>Contribute to the creation of new concepts for designed graphics, templates, and jewel event imagery</li> <li>Stay current on design and social trends and share with other members in the team on best practices</li> <li>Work days/nights, weekends and holidays for live game coverages, on rotated basis</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>BA in Graphic Design or related field</li> <li>3-5 years of experience working as a Graphic Designer&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Asana, Google apps and MS Office apps</li> <li>Manage time effectively, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines</li> <li>A keen eye and confidence when it comes to graphics design, typography and information design</li> <li>Capable of working within the guidelines of an existing graphics package to maintain consistency and quality</li> <li>Excellent organizational and communication skills</li> <li>Knowledge of multiple social media platforms – specifically Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, TikTok</li> <li>Demonstrates proficiency in typography, layout ,hierarchy, branding, and photo manipulations</li> <li>Must be flexible, deadline driven, a great collaborator and must be able to deliver graphics with complete accuracy</li> <li>Knowledge of baseball is a plus as it pertains to sports graphics</li> <li>Capable of taking initiative, following department processes and procedures.
