<h5><strong>Overall Responsibilities:</strong> The Mid-Level Practitioner (MLP) plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This position works under the supervision of a BCBA to provide direct treatment, assist in clinical programming, and support the training and development of Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).</h5>
<h5>The MLP supports learner progress by implementing treatment plans, assisting with assessments, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across assigned caseloads. This role also partners closely with clinical, scheduling, and operations teams to ensure effective service coordination and authorization utilization.</h5>
<p><strong>Primary Functions Include:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Direct Client Services</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide direct one-to-one ABA therapy to assigned learners</li>
<li>Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA</li>
<li>Monitor learner progress and support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals</li>
<li>Ensure sessions are conducted in accordance with Sunrise ABA standards</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Clinical Support & Programming</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments</li>
<li>Support the development and modification of behavior intervention plans</li>
<li>Collect, review, and analyze data to support clinical decision-making</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CentralReach</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Supervision & Team Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide guidance and support to BTs and RBTs during service delivery</li>
<li>Assist in training staff on behavior intervention strategies and data collection procedures</li>
<li>Model appropriate clinical and professional behavior</li>
<li>Provide feedback to team members to support performance and development</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Authorization & Service Delivery</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support utilization of authorized hours through effective scheduling and service delivery</li>
<li>Participate in client observation, supervision sessions, and caregiver collaboration</li>
<li>Partner with scheduling and operations teams to address gaps in service delivery</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Collaboration & Communication</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Communicate effectively with clinical leadership, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams</li>
<li>Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case reviews</li>
<li>Escalate concerns appropriately following Sunrise ABA protocols</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Skills/Abilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong understanding of ABA principles and intervention strategies</li>
<li>Ability to implement treatment plans with consistency and fidelity</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to coach, guide, and support BT/RBT staff</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Ability to analyze data and support clinical decision-making</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Proficiency with electronic health records (CentralReach preferred)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field required</li>
<li>Minimum of 1–2+ years of experience implementing behavior intervention services</li>
<li>Completion of at least 12 semester credit hours in behavior analysis or related coursework (or equivalent BCaBA coursework)</li>
<li>Active RBT certification preferred , not required</li>
<li>Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred</li>
<li>Experience supporting, training, or mentoring staff preferred</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and/or weekends as needed</li>
<li>Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned region</li>
<li>Ability to provide in-person services and supervision as required</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 20 pounds</li>
<li>Ability to engage in physical activity as required in a clinical setting</li>
<li>Ability to operate a computer and related office equipment</li>
</ul>
