<p>At Hazel Health, we make mental health care accessible to K–12 students through virtual care delivered in partnership with schools and health plans.</p> <p>Many of the students we serve are receiving support for the first time—giving clinicians the opportunity to make a meaningful impact early.</p> <h2><strong>A Flexible Way to Earn Additional Income</strong></h2> <p>This role is designed to <strong>fit alongside your existing work</strong>, not replace it.</p> <p>Whether you’re:</p> <ul> <li>Building a private practice</li> <li>Working a full-time role</li> <li>Looking to supplement your income</li> </ul> <p>Hazel offers a <strong>predictable, low-friction way to add consistent earnings</strong>—without needing to find your own clients or manage a business.</p> <h2><strong>How This Role Fits Your Life</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Flexible Scheduling Within Peak Hours</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Sessions take place during <strong>Ohio peak hours: Monday–Friday, 4pm–7pm EST</strong></li> <li>These hours define <strong>when sessions can occur—and does not mean you need to be available all day</strong></li> <li>You choose your schedule within that window based on your availability</li> </ul> <p><strong>For example:</strong></p> <ul> <li>See <strong>2 clients per day, Monday–Friday</strong></li> <li>Or work <strong>4pm–6pm</strong> or 5<strong>pm–7pm</strong>—whatever fits your schedule</li> </ul> <p>As long as sessions fall within peak hours and you meet the <strong>10-client minimum</strong>, your schedule is fully customizable.</p> <h3><strong>Start with 10 Clients — Scale Up or Down</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Minimum: 10 clients per week</strong></li> <li>Option to increase your caseload <strong>up to 29 clients/week</strong></li> </ul> <p>You can:</p> <ul> <li>Take on more clients when you want additional income</li> <li>Then <strong>scale back down to 10</strong> when your availability changes</li> </ul> <p>No long-term commitment to a higher caseload.</p> <h3><strong>We Help You Get Started</strong></h3> <p>We support <strong>initial scheduling and caseload building</strong>, so you’re not responsible for filling your calendar from scratch.</p> <h3><strong>W2 Role = Simpler, More Stable</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Taxes handled for you (no 1099 complexity)</li> <li>Paid consistently for sessions + eligible admin time</li> <li>Malpractice coverage included</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Support children and families through virtual therapy sessions</li> <li>Help students navigate challenges like anxiety, behavior, and school-related stress</li> <li>Collaborate with caregivers (and when appropriate, schools) to support progress</li> <li>Document care and track outcomes through our platform</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Independently licensed in Ohio (LMFT, LISW, LPCC or equivalent)</li> <li>Experience working with children and families</li> <li>Comfortable delivering care virtually</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Compensation</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>$80 per completed session</strong></li> <li>Paid for all completed sessions (even if sessions end early)</li> <li>Additional admin time compensated at <strong>$20/hour</strong></li> </ul> <h2><strong>Benefits</strong></h2> <ul> <li>12 company holidays</li> <li>Accrued sick time</li> <li>401(k) program</li> <li>EAP</li> <li>Malpractice insurance</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Why Clinicians Use Hazel</strong></h2> <p data-start="365" data-end="504">Hazel is a reliable way to <strong>earn additional income, stay clinically engaged, and support children—without taking on the burden of building or managing a practice.</strong></p> <hr data-start="2773" data-end="2776"> <h2 data-start="2778" data-end="2814">Licensing &amp; Location Requirements</h2> <p data-start="2816" data-end="3092">Candidates must maintain an active license in the state where services are provided. This role may be performed from the following states:&nbsp;AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, MD, MA, MN, MS, MO, MT, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, PA, VA, WA.</p> <p data-start="3094" data-end="3229">Applicants must reside in (or relocate to) one of these states prior to employment.
