Assistant Controller at Faraday Future

At FF, we’re creating something new, something connected, and something with a true global impact.</p> <p><strong><u>Your Role: </u></strong></p> <p>As the&nbsp;<strong>Assistant Controller</strong>, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to help run the accounting department and implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules. This position requires working onsite 100% at our HQ in El Segundo, CA.</p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation</li> <li>Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies</li> <li>Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability</li> <li>Develop monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc accounting reports for the management and executive teams</li> <li>Lead strategy planning/process improvement and general accounting operations optimization</li> <li>Oversee and drive SOX section 404 implementation efforts for general accounting</li> <li>Identify opportunities to redesign and improve the operating effectiveness of controls through simplification and automation&nbsp;</li> <li>A point of contact to the Company’s external auditors for the quarterly review and the annual financial statement audit</li> <li>Provided support for quarterly reviews and annual audits of SEC financial statements, domestic and international tax filings, statutory audits, and periodic internal audits</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance&nbsp;</li> <li>10+ years' experience in general accounting in a publicly traded company (MUST)</li> <li>Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills</li> <li>Manufacturing or OEM experience is a must have</li> <li>Extensive general accounting experience and knowledge</li> <li>Exceptional leadership abilities</li> <li>SAP HANA working experience is preferred</li> <li>CPA Certification is highly desired.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Annual Salary Range:</u></strong></p> <p>($160,000.00 - $180,000.00 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><u>Perks + Benefits</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Healthcare + dental + vision benefits (Free for you/discounted for family)</li> <li>401(k) options</li> <li>Casual dress code + relaxed work environment</li> <li>Culturally diverse, progressive atmosphere</li> </ul> <p>Faraday Future is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.</p>
