We power personalization for more than 1,400 global brands, including American Eagle, Sonepar, and Pandora.</div></div><p>We are looking for a <strong>Product Manager – Web Personalization</strong> to join the <strong>Bloomreach Engagement</strong> product team.</p> <p>In this role, you will own the <strong>Web Personalization</strong> area of Engagement – everything that powers how our customers personalize experiences on their websites and web apps: <strong>weblayers</strong>, <strong>on‑site personalization blocks</strong>, <strong>web experiments</strong>, and the orchestration of these experiences alongside email, SMS, and mobile channels. Working in one of our <strong>Central European offices </strong>or <strong>from home on a full-time basis</strong>, you’ll become a core part of the Engagement product team.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Define and execute the <strong>product vision and roadmap</strong> for Web Personalization.</li> <li>Partner closely with design, engineering, and GTM teams to build capabilities that:</li> <ul> <li>Make <strong>web personalization simple and powerful for marketers</strong>.</li> <li>Integrate deeply with our <strong>core data &amp; decisioning</strong> capabilities.</li> <li>Differentiate Bloomreach vs. competitors in <strong>web &amp; app personalization</strong>.</li> <li>Lead the transformation of this area into the <strong>era of AI, Agents and LLMs</strong>.</li> </ul> </ul> <h2><strong>About the Team / Product Area</strong></h2> <p>Bloomreach Engagement is our <strong>marketing automation</strong> product, used by digital-first brands to orchestrate cross-channel journeys across <strong>email, SMS, mobile, web, and ads</strong>.</p> <p>The <strong>Web Personalization</strong> product area includes (non-exhaustive):</p> <ul> <li><strong>Weblayers / onsite experiences</strong> (banners, pop-ups, forms, etc.).</li> <li><strong>Web experiments</strong> (A/B tests, variations, targeting).</li> <li><strong>Scenario orchestration</strong> for website experiences (e.g., <em>weblayers in scenarios</em>).</li> <li>Supporting components: web SDKs, targeting, frequency capping, templates, analytics.</li> </ul> <p>Your mandate is to make this stack:</p> <ul> <li><strong>More powerful</strong> (better decisioning, targeting, personalization).</li> <li><strong>Easier to use</strong> (for marketers, not just technical users).</li> <li><strong>Better connected</strong> (to Engagement data, AI, and other channels).</li> <li><strong>AI native</strong> (transforming existing approaches to new experiences).</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities</strong></h2> <p>As Product Manager for Web Personalization, you will:</p> <h3><strong>Product Strategy &amp; Roadmap</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Define and evolve the <strong>product strategy</strong> for Web Personalization aligned with Engagement’s overall vision.</li> <li>Maintain a <strong>clear roadmap</strong> for your area, balancing:</li> <ul> <li>Customer-impacting improvements.</li> <li>Strategic differentiators (e.g. AI-driven personalization, agentic orchestration).</li> <li>Technical investments (performance, scalability, UX simplification).</li> </ul> <li>Translate strategy into <strong>clear problem statements, outcomes, and success metrics</strong>.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Discovery &amp; Problem Definition</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Run <strong>structured discovery</strong> with customers, prospects, and internal teams (CS, Sales, PS, Support) to deeply understand:</li> <ul> <li>How they run on-site personalization and experiments today.</li> <li>Where Bloomreach falls short vs. alternatives.</li> <li>The biggest usability and adoption blockers for web personalization.</li> </ul> <li>Use qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritize problems and validate opportunities.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Delivery &amp; Execution</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Work day-to-day with <strong>engineering, design, and data</strong> to deliver high-quality features:</li> <ul> <li>Write clear <strong>PRDs / specs</strong> and success criteria.</li> <li>Ensure <strong>usability risk</strong> is addressed via close collaboration with UX and research.</li> <li>Manage trade-offs and scope while preserving the customer value.</li> </ul> <li>Drive <strong>end-to-end delivery</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>From design → implementation → rollout → measurement → iteration.</li> </ul> </ul> <h3><strong>Cross-Channel Orchestration</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Ensure Web Personalization is <strong>deeply integrated</strong> into:</li> <ul> <li>Scenarios (journey builder).</li> <li>CDP capabilities (segments, events, attributes, predictions).</li> <li>Other channels (email, SMS, mobile, ads).</li> </ul> <li>Partner with other Engagement PMs to provide a <strong>unified omnichannel experience</strong> for marketers (e.g., single orchestration workspace combining web and messaging).</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Go-to-Market &amp; Adoption</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with <strong>Product Marketing, Docs, Academy, and CS</strong> to:</li> <ul> <li>Shape positioning and messaging for Web Personalization.</li> <li>Create launch materials, internal enablement, and best-practice playbooks.</li> <li>Support pricing &amp; packaging discussions for web personalization capabilities.</li> </ul> <li>Monitor <strong>adoption, usage, and funnel metrics</strong> for your features and run experiments to improve activation and long-term engagement.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Stakeholder Management</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Act as the <strong>single-threaded owner</strong> for Web Personalization:</li> <ul> <li>Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and timelines to internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Represent your area in roadmap reviews, QPRs, and field-facing sessions.</li> </ul> <li>Ensure tight collaboration with:</li> <ul> <li><strong>Engineering &amp; Design</strong> (for delivery).</li> <li><strong>Customer Success &amp; Solutions</strong> (for feedback and validation).</li> <li><strong>Sales &amp; Product Marketing</strong> (for competitive differentiation and GTM).</li> </ul> </ul> <h2><strong>What We Expect of the Candidate</strong></h2> <h4><strong>Experience</strong></h4> <ul> <li>3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with web personalization, experimentation, customer engagement, or related digital experience tools in a practitioner role.</li> <li>Strong practical background in at least one of:</li> <ul> <li>Web personalization / experimentation platforms</li> <li>Marketing automation / CDP products with strong web capabilities</li> <li>Web experience / CMS / front-end tools (e.g. A/B testing tools, on-site personalization, web SDKs)</li> </ul> <li>Experience using Bloomreach Engagement is strongly preferred; experience with similar platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, Dynamic Yield, Monetate, or comparable tools is also valuable.</li> <li>Experience as a product manager is a plus, but not a requirement.</li> <li>Mobile app personalization experience is a plus.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to translate real customer and implementation needs into clear product, use case, or solution requirements.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Skills &amp; Capabilities</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Customer-centric problem solver</strong>: You can turn messy feedback into crisp problem statements. You are comfortable saying “no” and explaining trade-offs.</li> <li><strong>Strong product discovery skills</strong>: Comfortable running interviews, validating hypotheses, and working with UX/research.</li> <li><strong>Technical fluency</strong>: Able to discuss architecture and constraints of web SDKs, tag managers, APIs, and front-end rendering with engineers. Can work with tracking concepts (events, attributes, experiments) and understand their implications.</li> <li><strong>Data-driven decision making</strong>: Proficient with product analytics and experimentation. Comfortable defining and tracking metrics (adoption, activation, performance, impact).</li> <li><strong>Excellent communication &amp; collaboration</strong>: Clear written and verbal communication in English. Able to align multiple stakeholders across Product, Engineering, CS, and GTM.</li> <li><strong>Execution and ownership</strong>: You can drive complex projects to completion, even with ambiguity and competing priorities.
