And&nbsp;that’s&nbsp;just the beginning.&nbsp;</p> <p>This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with 8 - 12 Years of specialized technical experience to support, maintain, and enhance a suite of mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in various skills in mainframe technologies, middleware, databases, and DevOps practices, with a strong understanding of enterprise application support and acts as a technical lead, responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting critical mainframe applications while guiding junior team members</p> <p>Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, MQ and VSAM.</li> <li>Experience in enterprise-level ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Service Manager, etc.) and their operational workflows.</li> <li>Worked on waterfall and agile methodology projects; capable of handling - Incidents, Service Requests and Change Requests simultaneously.</li> <li>Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application and integration.</li> <li>Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Mainframe applications and database queries.</li> <li>Develop technical documentation (Knowledge Base articles, SOPs) for business and support teams</li> <li>Understand both functional and technical requirements and provide implementation/change options aligned with business needs.</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li> <li>Experience: Extensive experience in mainframe application development, support and maintenance</li> <li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS DC/DB, MQ and VSAM. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Experience with version control systems and software development tools.</li> <li>Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
