<p>CPI Security, a leader in security and smart home solutions, is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented <strong>Facilities</strong> <strong>Maintenance/Fleet Lead</strong> to help keep our facilities, equipment, and fleet operating safely and efficiently. This role supports general maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, vendor coordination, and day-to-day facility and fleet needs across assigned locations. Core responsibility will be based at our location in Charlotte, NC.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working independently while following established procedures and safety standards.</p>
<h3>What You’ll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Perform general maintenance and repair work, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, and vehicle servicing.</li>
<li>Support preventive maintenance programs and service schedules for facilities, equipment, and fleet assets.</li>
<li>Coordinate and monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly work completed by outside vendors.</li>
<li>Safely operate maintenance tools and equipment, including hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, ice removal equipment, and ladders.</li>
<li>Communicate with the Asset Manager, cleaning crews, and other team members regarding maintenance needs and completed work.</li>
<li>Prioritize daily assignments using sound judgment to complete work efficiently and safely.</li>
<li>Complete basic tracking and administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.</li>
<li>Travel to assigned locations as needed to support maintenance and fleet operations.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What We’re Looking For</h3>
<ul>
<li>2+ years of maintenance, fleet, facilities, or related experience.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of general building maintenance practices and procedures.</li>
<li>Ability to safely use common maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.</li>
<li>Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license required.</li>
<li>Ability to travel up to 30%.</li>
</ul>
