<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative <strong>Supervising Psychiatrist</strong> to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll provide direct clinical care and help shape the future of psychiatry at Two Chairs. You’ll supervise and mentor advanced practice providers (APPs) to ensure excellent, ethical, and measurement-based care across the team.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What makes this role unique? </strong>The Supervising Psychiatrist will treat patients and supervise and support advanced practice providers, such as nurse practitioners (NPs) or physician assistants (PAs), including reviewing their cases and treatment plans, assisting them in handling complex or crisis situations and ensuring clinical quality and adherence to best practices. </span></p>

<h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><em>Clinical Care</em></strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for individuals with mild to moderate conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and mood disorders.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prescribe medications responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with measurement-based care.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Conduct follow-up assessments, manage medications, and offer psychotherapy when clinically appropriate to optimize patient outcomes.</span></li>
</ul>
<h4><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><em>Supervision & Mentorship</em></strong></span></h4>

<li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Supervise and mentor APPs (NPs, PAs, APRNs), ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and best practices.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Review documentation and treatment plans to ensure quality and adherence to compliance standards.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support APPs in managing clinical crises in line with guidelines.</span></li>
</ul>
<h4><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><em>Process Development</em></strong></span></h4>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve tools, workflows, and care models that elevate psychiatric care.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Help define and implement treatment guidelines and protocols that exceed industry standards.</span></li>
</ul>
<h4><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><em>Patient Support & Education</em></strong></span></h4>

<li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provide psychoeducation and psychotherapy as appropriate to support medication adherence and engagement.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Partner with patients to set goals that enhance their mental health and quality of life.</span></li>
</ul>
<h4><em><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Team Collaboration</strong></span></em></h4>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work alongside therapists, care coordinators, and other clinicians in a collaborative, interdisciplinary care model.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Contribute to case reviews, clinical discussions, and organizational planning.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Partner with clinical leadership to refine operational workflows and clinical decision-making support systems.</span></li>

<h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Begin supervising and mentoring advanced practice providers, offering real-time support and ongoing guidance.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Deliver outstanding psychiatric care, including psychotherapy, when clinically indicated.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Actively contribute to team meetings, case consultations, and the development of innovative care models.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provide input to shape and refine workflows, protocols, and best practices for psychiatric care delivery.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>We’re looking for someone who is/possesses:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Board-certified psychiatrist (MD or DO)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">An active and unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in a state served by Two Chairs, or eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience supervising and mentoring advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, etc.). </span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><em>Preferred: </em>additional state licensure or willingness to obtain additional state licenses</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><em>Preferred: </em>DEA registration or willingness to obtain with support from Two Chairs</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><em>Preferred: </em>familiarity with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery </span></li>

<p><strong><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Compensation & Benefits</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">This is a part-time, exempt position with a flexible schedule of <strong>10 to 20 hours per week</strong>, based on the candidate's availability and interest. Compensation is based on an <strong>hourly rate that varies by geographic zone</strong> and ranges from <strong>$145 to $200 per hour</strong>, depending on location, qualifications, and experience.</span></p>

<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Zone 2</strong>: Portland (OR), Boston, Chicago, DC, NJ, WA, and all other California locations – <strong>$160–$185/hr</strong></span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Zone 3</strong>: Miami, Philadelphia, Denver, Austin, Dallas, and Houston – <strong>$150–$175/hr</strong></span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">Zone 4</strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">: All other U.S. locations – </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">$145–$170/hr</strong></li>
