Personalis is based in Fremont, California.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a fast paced cutting edge clinical lab environment. The Sample Accessioner will work in a team environment which includes project managers and clinical lab ops specialists. As an Accessioner, daily tasks will involve patient specimen intake, accessioning and fulfilling client requests for returns or destructions. This will entail following SOPs and working with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other software. This role will also perform shipping / receiving, recording and inventorying of samples sent for laboratory testing.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><em>Available Shifts: Mon-Fri, 10:30 am - 7:00 pm OR Tues - Sat, 10:30am - 7:00pm</em></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Confirming daily incoming specimens such as blood, plasma, and tissue meet acceptability standards for testing</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Labeling specimens with associated unique lab identifiers &amp; maintaining sample inventory logs.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Promptly fulfill client requests to return or destroy specimens.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Prepare and ship specimens to various client testing sites.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Logging test reports and other sample data into LIMS.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with the Lab Processing Team to provide consistent and ongoing support to the entire Lab Operations department.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assist with team projects or various initiatives and help train incoming staff members.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Requirements:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor of Arts or Science preferred with 0-2 years relevant experience.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficient computing skills.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Attention to detail and the ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Capable communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers.<br></span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The hiring range for this position is<strong> $24.00 to $25.00</strong> per hour.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Personalis is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to the full inclusion of all individuals.
