The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cloud Native Applications & DevSecOps (DSOP), including automation, cloud services, container orchestration & software development. This role requires a strong foundation in Linux engineering with skills in containerization technologies, CICD, and experience working in public and private clouds. The candidate will have a proven track record in automating software deployments and implementing solutions to accelerate release cycles. This role’s core responsibility revolves around empowering development teams with a robust platform that streamlines processes and enhances collaboration. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Implement, maintain, and support build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, utilizing tools such as Kubernetes, Gitlab, ArgoCD, etc, across hybrid cloud computing environments. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Read and understand various application programming interfaces (APIs) and implement automation as required. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop & Improve automation for efficient deployment and management of cloud resources using tools such as Terraform, Ansible. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Integrate security and compliance into the platform by implementing services such as encryption and access management to meet DISA STIGs compliance with security standards and policies across hybrid containerized environments. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assist development teams with implementing containerized deployments utilizing tools such as Kustomize, Helm and Docker/Podman. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Account for disaster recovery scenarios, implement & test backup and recovery procedures. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Monitor the environment for performance metrics and alerts, identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Stay abreast of latest DevSecOps and Cloud Native technologies and work with stakeholders to recommend more efficient solutions. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Skills & Experience:</strong> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years' direct experience in a DevSecOps role or related experience. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Solid understanding of Linux/Unix Administration. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proficient in one or more computer programming languages commonly used in scripting & automation.
