About the Role

The Basics:   The position is a 4-days per week onsite role based in Addison, TX. The hourly rate for this internship is $25.00. This hourly rate is an estimate for what Tanium will pay an intern. The actual rate offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an hourly rate, interns will be eligible for 401k matching and a monthly allowance for communications reimbursement.  What you’ll do: <ul> <li>Schedule highly qualified meetings for your field sales team members using a defined sales methodology and utilizing sales strategies within your territory</li> <li>Manage lead generation and follow up activity on inbound leads for your territory</li> <li>Leverage world class tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Navigator to drive the biggest impact across your territory</li> <li>Collaborate with sales, marketing, partners, and product teams on messaging, field events and defined campaigns</li> <li>Through regular trainings and enablement, build a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and current trends in the marketplace</li> <li>Work with your leadership team to build strong communications skills and learn how to deliver effective reporting back to the business</li> <li>Meet or exceed minimum weekly activity metrics: calls, emails, conversations and meetings</li> <li>Work closely with your team and business partners in a highly collaborative environment</li> </ul> We’re looking for someone with: <ul> <li>Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future</li> <li>Available to work full-time from June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027.</li> <li>A currently enrolled Bachelor's degree candidate, preferably studying business or related area, ideally with a 3.5+ GPA</li> <li>Graduating in either December 2027 or Spring 2028</li> <li>Familiar with conducting cold outreach activities, ideally bringing experience from a prior commission-based job or internship (in any industry)</li> <li>Eager to learn, committed to getting 1% better every day and open to feedback</li> <li>Competitive with a mentality that drives you to exceed</li> <li>Excited about learning technology and helping helping customers solve some of the most pressing needs in Security and IT</li> <li>Strong in building relationships; being willing to do this across the business and becoming a trusted resource for the team</li> <li>Able to work closely with a high energy, dynamic sales team in the ongoing optimization of strategic sales approaches</li> </ul>   About Tanium  <div> Tanium is the Autonomous IT company.
