Role Overview: The Quality Inspector role will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of harnesses and hardware to ensure compliance with internal, external, and industry specifications. This role plays a key part in supporting production goals, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.   What you'll own: <ul> <li>Perform in-process and final inspections of hardware against engineering drawings, industry specifications, and internal/external quality requirements.  </li> <li>Conduct incoming inspections as required to support production timelines.  </li> <li>Create and maintain inspection documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Inspection Reports, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).  </li> <li>Ensure the delivery of high-quality products from Senra's manufacturing team, supporting production, operations, and delivery targets.  </li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for quality-related issues.  </li> <li>Drive Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to closure, supporting disposition, approvals, and verification activities as required.  </li> <li>Investigate, document, and resolve product and process issues, ensuring proper corrective actions are implemented and verified.  </li> <li>Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance product quality, reduce inefficiencies, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.  </li> <li>Perform product testing on hardware as required to verify performance and quality.  </li> <li>Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to meet production deadlines and operational goals.  </li> </ul> What you'll bring to the team: <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Technical Degree in a related field preferred).  </li> <li>2+ years of experience in quality inspection, production, or manufacturing roles  </li> <li>Hands on experience inspection of harnesses to IPC-620 or NASA 8739.4 Class 3  </li> <li>Familiarity with inspection techniques, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action processes (CAPA).  </li> <li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and industry specifications.  </li> <li>Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and non-conformance reporting (NCR) processes.  </li> <li>Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).  </li> <li>Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills,  </li> <li>Ability to work onsite at our facility in Redondo Beach, CA. </li> </ul> Bonus Points:  <ul> <li>Hands on experience inspecting aerospace or defense hardware  </li> <li>IPC-620, IPC-610 and NASA-STD-8739.4 certified   </li> <li>Previous experience working at a fast-paced, high-growth startup   </li> </ul> Compensation:   <ul> <li>Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.  </li> <li>Hourly Range: $24.00- $36.00 </li> <li>This is an onsite role in our HQ, Redondo Beach, CA.   </li> </ul> Benefits:   <ul> <li>Unmatched opportunities to drive impact on a friendly and mission-driven team  </li> <li>Own a piece of the pie with equity participation!   </li> <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability coverage  </li> <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Spending Account (DSA) for health-related expenses  </li> <li>20 vacation days per year and 12 company holidays for rest and relaxation</li> <li>a 401(k) plan to set yourself up for retirement</li> <li>Choose a record you love, and we’ll add it to our growing vinyl collection!  </li> <li>$50/month DoorDash credit – lunch is on us!   </li> <li>Up to $100/month reimbursement for gym memberships   </li> <li>Fully stocked kitchen with snacks and beverages  </li> <li>Regular team-building events, lunches, and the occasional breakfast burrito!   </li> <li>Bright, open office with communal spaces for collaboration and free parking  </li> <li>Conveniently located near the metro, major freeways and local dining spots  </li> </ul> We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
