Seyond.   Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our LiDAR Solutions Engineering team and support the deployment and integration of our LiDAR-based sensing products.  In this role, you’ll serve as the technical bridge between customers, business development, and engineering, ensuring our products perform flawlessly in real-world conditions.    How will data-aria-level="1">Scripting or data analysis skills (Python, MATLAB, or equivalent) for debugging and performance analysis preferred.</li> </ul>   What qualifications and skills will make you succeed in this role?  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Traffic Engineering or related technical discipline.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in Field Application Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Hardware/System Integration, ideally within LiDAR, sensor, traffic or related technology domains. </li> <li>Strong hardware troubleshooting and system-level debugging experience using lab equipment and diagnostic tools. </li> <li>Experience with ITS deployments and familiarity with traffic signal controllers. </li> <li>Experience with embedded Linux, network communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, SDLC), and sensor integration. </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, identify root cause, and drive cross-functional resolution. </li> <li>Strong system documentation skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. </li> <li>Must be comfortable working on-site with customers and in hands-on field environments. </li>
