These sentiments capture why we choose Riskified every day.&nbsp;</p> <h2>About the Role</h2> <p>We are looking for an <strong>Implementation Project Manager</strong> to lead the end-to-end onboarding experience for new merchants. In this role, you will serve as the single point of accountability for customer implementations, ensuring seamless execution from integration kickoff through post–go-live stabilization.</p> <p>You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Integration, Analytics, Data Science, Product and Merchant-facing teams to drive alignment, mitigate risk, and deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience for high-value accounts.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Project Leadership &amp; Execution</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Own the full lifecycle of customer onboarding projects, from kickoff through 30 days post–go-live</li> <li>Act as the single point of accountability for project delivery, timelines, and outcomes</li> <li>Build and manage detailed project plans, tracking dependencies across multiple teams</li> <li>Enforce a standardized Go-Live Checklist to ensure readiness for all high-value accounts</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Stakeholder &amp; Client Communication</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Serve as the central communication hub across internal teams, providing clear visibility into status, risks, and next steps</li> <li>Partner with Sales and Integration team to manage merchant-facing communication related to onboarding and technical requirements</li> <li>Set clear expectations with stakeholders and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Risk &amp; Change Management</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Proactively identify, document, and escalate project risks and blockers</li> <li>Track and drive resolution of data and integration-related issues across teams</li> <li>Lead Go/No-Go decision meetings, presenting readiness status and final recommendations to leadership</li> <li>Ensure a smooth transition to Merchant Health and TAM teams post–go-live, including ownership of open items and operational readiness</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Process &amp; Cross-Functional Alignment</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Partner with Sales pre-kickoff to validate commercial terms and ensure accurate, up-to-date data inputs</li> <li>Collaborate with Analytics to align on key success metrics (e.g., approval rates) prior to shadow mode</li> <li>Ensure all operational workflows (e.g., manual review, dispute processes) are fully prepared for launch</li> <li>Drive consistency and rigor in onboarding processes across teams</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>5+ years experience managing complex, technical, multi-stakeholder projects with strong attention to timelines and dependencies</li> <li>Proven experience working alongside Analytics or Data teams on technically complex initiatives involving large-scale datasets, KPI validation, data integrity investigations, and performance analysis.</li> <li>Ability to clearly and proactively communicate across technical and non-technical audiences</li> <li>A highly accountable, proactive approach with the confidence to lead without direct authority</li> <li>Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and technical integrations; able to facilitate conversations with engineering and data teams</li> <li>Proven ability to balance competing priorities, influence decision-making, and push back when needed</li> <li>Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on validating outcomes—not just tracking progress</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000. This range is applicable to candidates who will perform the job either wholly, or in part, within New York City. Actual salary will be based on qualifications, competencies, and location.
