The successful candidate will support a range of company, commercial, insolvency and trust litigation matters in the BVI and internationally. Candidates will be qualified in England and Wales, Scotland or the BVI.</p> <p>Sterlington’s litigation partners come from BigLaw and other well-recognized firms. You will work in an ambitious, agile, and high-performing team that is committed to delivering excellent results and associate development. The role suits an individual with BigLaw experience who is looking for more hands-on experience.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Researching potential legal theories and arguments&nbsp;across a wide range of commercial disputes, including with international clients, and advising on matters involving cross-border elements.</li> <li>Advising international clients on commercial and corporate disputes, including shareholder, director, contractual and trusts disputes.</li> <li>Involved in business development activities and revenue generation</li> <li>Communicating (verbally and in writing) with clients</li> <li>Strives to continue improving the brand and culture of Sterlington BVI.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Attributes:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>5 -10 years PQE, having completed a training contract within a UK Top 100 law firm or strong litigation boutique or top tier offshore law firm.</li> <li>Experience working in an international offshore law firm preferred.
