Collaboration fuels our innovation and drives our success.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Empowering Success:</strong>&nbsp;We believe in empowering our team members to reach new heights, fostering a culture of growth and achievement.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Nurturing Growth</strong>: Personal and professional growth isn't just encouraged; it's nurtured, supported, and celebrated.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Work Hours:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Monday - Thursday 7pm - 12am</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Saturday 7pm - 12am</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Alternating Sundays 5:30pm - 10pm</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Position Overview:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Specimen Preparation and Packaging:&nbsp;</strong>Properly prepare and package specimens for pickup.</li> <li>Testing and Analysis</li> <li><strong>Perform pregnancy testing:&nbsp;</strong>Perform urine testing.</li> <li>Provide timely analysis of specimens (bodily fluids, blood, urine, etc.).</li> <li><strong>Quality Assurance:&nbsp;</strong>Keep the Laboratory Supervisor informed to ensure that appropriate remedial action is taken whenever a test system deviates from the laboratory’s performance specifications.</li> <li>Assure that patient test results are reported efficiently.</li> <li>Monitor test analyses and specimen examination to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.</li> <li><strong>Data Entry:&nbsp;</strong>Enter specimen analysis and results in a patient’s electronic health record.</li> <li><strong>Specimen Collection:&nbsp;</strong>Collect specimens as outlined in the patient’s medical requisition after appointments.</li> <li>Know how to find out what send out labs are needed.</li> <li><strong>Miscellaneous Tasks:&nbsp;</strong>Perform duties as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor or Practice Manager.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>New York State Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician License required</li> <li>Must have a strong ability to work independently as well as an effective team member</li> <li>Must display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively relate to all medical staff</li> <li>Must have excellent ability to analyze test results, computer generated reports, etc., including superior follow up skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Must have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and remain flexible in adjusting to changing conditions within the clinical/laboratory operations</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Clinical Laboratory experience is a plus</li> <li>Knowledge of EHR or EMR strongly preferred</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Pay &amp; Benefits:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>$30 per hour, commensurate with experience. &nbsp;</li> </ul> </div> </header> <h1 id="jd-job-title-1008942780509" class="heading_Heading__BqX5J heading_Level1__soLZs"></h1> </div> </header>
