Principal QA Lead -  Test Automation at OneSpan

This role is responsible for automation strategy, test framework development, CI/CD quality integration, and technical leadership while partnering with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Define and execute mobile and backend test automation strategy.</li> <li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for iOS, Android, and APIs.</li> <li>Build and manage CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines and quality gates.</li> <li>Lead performance, reliability, and release-readiness testing initiatives.</li> <li>Mentor QA Engineers and SDETs through technical guidance and code reviews.</li> <li>Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to improve product quality and delivery.</li> </ul> <h2>Required Skills &amp; Experience</h2> <h3>Experience</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>15+ <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">years of experience with significant experience in mobile test automation</span>.</li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">5+ years of technical mentorship and lead experience&nbsp;</span>.</li> </ul> <h3>Mobile Development &amp; Test Automation</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Swift, SwiftUI, XCTest, and Xcode.</li> <li>Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Compose UI Testing, and Android Studio.</li> <li>JUnit 4 and JUnit 5.</li> <li>Understanding of mobile application signing, packaging, and command-line deployment.</li> </ul> <h3>Backend &amp; API Testing</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Experience testing APIs and backend services.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Java and Spring/Spring Boot.</li> </ul> <h3>CI/CD &amp; DevOps</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>GitLab CI and YAML pipeline configuration.</li> <li>Bash/shell scripting.</li> <li>Linux, Docker, and CI/CD automation.</li> <li>AWS experience preferred.</li> <li>BrowserStack experience is a plus.</li> </ul> <h3>Additional Qualifications</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Strong programming and automation framework design skills.</li> <li>Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.</li> <li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">#LI-Onsite<br>#LI-LS1</span></p>
