This is a core utility role designed to address a capacity gap and accelerate our international and domestic scaling. You will work alongside our senior engineering and product resources to front-load regulatory research and partner discovery that currently serves as a bottleneck.By the end of your internship, you will have developed an Expansion Playbook and become a subject matter expert for our European expansion, with the potential to transition into a full-time Solutions Engineer role.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Technical Discovery: Conduct deep-dive research into B2B customer requirements to support our growing ecosystem.</li> <li>Regulatory Scoping: Research messaging protocols and legal regulations for emergency services, specifically focusing on 112 in the EU (starting with France) and 999 in the UK.</li> <li>Partner Ecosystems: Identify, vet, and create a cost-benefit analysis for potential SMS aggregation partners.</li> <li>Demo Environment: Helping with manual testing of different demos in different scenarios such as different jurisdictions.</li> <li>Building Tools: Support both B2B and Public Safety Government (PSG) teams by building AI-driven tools to reduce manual overhead in day-to-day operations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Analytical Rigor:</strong> Ability to validate complex technical and legal requirements for emergency messaging (112/999).</li> <li><strong>Technical Aptitude:</strong> Experience or interest in building functional, AI-driven toolkits and working with SMS aggregators.</li> <li><strong>Strategic Thinking:</strong> Capability to move from a single-city pilot to a repeatable, scalable process.</li> <li><strong>Mission-Driven:</strong> A passion for using technology to save lives and solve large-scale global challenges.</li> <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Ability to deliver a comprehensive "Expansion Playbook" consisting of a compliance roadmap, partner selection matrix, and internal toolkits</li> <li><strong>Timing:</strong> This internship will run from August 1 - October 31, 2026.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>The chance to work with a passionate team on solving one of the largest challenges globally&nbsp;</li> <li>Competitive salary and benefits and equity participation&nbsp;</li> <li>A dynamic, flexible and fun start-up work environment with a highly talented team</li> </ul> <p><strong>If you're curious to learn more about RapidSOS, you can check out </strong><a href="https://rapidsos.com/blog/"><strong>https://rapidsos.com/blog/</strong></a><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br><br></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">RapidSOS is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
