Financial Planning and Analysis Director at CPI Security

The company leads the industry in alarm response times, is consistently ranked in the top 10 of electronic security businesses and is widely known as North Carolina and South Carolina's Top 25 Best Places to Work.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">What you’ll do:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, partnering with department leaders to align financial plans with business priorities.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build and maintain driver-based financial models, scenario analyses, sensitivity models, ROI models, and executive reporting.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Own monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis, KPI tracking, forecast updates, and performance insights.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, customer economics, and key business drivers to identify risks and opportunities.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as a finance business partner to leaders across the organization, providing data-driven recommendations.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Improve forecasting, reporting, and planning processes through automation, BI tools, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner with Finance Systems, IT, and cross-functional teams to improve data quality, reporting tools, and system integrations.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage and develop a Senior Financial Analyst, providing coaching, workflow guidance, and accountability.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">What we’re looking for:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">MBA, CPA, CFA, or related advanced credential preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">7–10+ years of FP&amp;A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or financial analysis experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting processes.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prior experience managing or mentoring at least one analyst.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build models from scratch.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with ERP systems, planning tools, BI platforms, analytics software, or financial reporting systems.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Advanced Excel skills required;
