This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.</span></p></div><p></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Purpose of Role</strong></span></p> <p>As Finance Director – APAC, you will serve as the senior finance leader and strategic co-pilot to Hasbro's APAC Commercial Leadership Team. This is a broad, high-impact role that combines Sales Finance (commercial business partnering, pricing, customer P&amp;Ls, and investment strategy) with Regional Finance (A&amp;P and overhead stewardship, planning and consolidation) across the region.</p> <p>This is a key leadership role in Hasbro's International Commercial Markets. You will own the full finance agenda for APAC — from commercial deal-making and channel strategy through to regional planning, cost discipline, and consolidated reporting — giving you end-to-end visibility and influence over the region's financial performance.</p> <p>This role is built for a bold, energetic leader who combines sharp financial acumen with commercial instincts, thrives in ambiguity and change, and is ready to build and lead a high-performing, multi-market team. Driving the region to sustainable profitability is the #1 challenge — and this role is central to achieving that.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></span><br><br><strong>Commercial Strategy &amp; Decision Support (Sales Finance)</strong><br>• Partner with the APAC Commercial Leadership Team to drive business performance across key markets, channels, and franchises.<br>• Lead pricing strategy, channel investment, profitability analysis, and customer P&amp;L decisions.<br>• Act as a strategic architect — identify revenue growth opportunities and unlock margin through smart trade-offs.<br><br><strong>Investment Planning &amp; Regional Finance</strong><br>• Partner with the Regional Head of Marketing and Head of Customer Marketing to align investment and promotional strategy.<br>• Lead line plan pricing recommendations across the region, supporting commercial market decision-making.<br>• Drive disciplined oversight of A&amp;P and overheads across APAC.<br>• Lead the regional planning rhythm: weekly sales tracking, monthly business reviews, and financial performance reporting.<br>• Manage in-year performance processes, ensuring accurate, timely visibility of risks, opportunities, and sufficiency.<br>• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the region.<br>• Own regional consolidation, ensuring accurate roll-up of market-level results into the APAC view and clean handoff to Corporate Finance.<br><br><strong>Leadership &amp; Team Building</strong><br>• Lead a combined Sales Finance and Regional Finance organization of 11 across Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India, and Australia, through 4 direct reports: Senior Finance Manager – Regional Finance, Senior Finance Manager – Sales Finance (Asia Markets), Finance Manager – Sales Finance (PAC &amp; GEM), and a Finance Analyst – PAC &amp; GEM who reports directly to the FD rather than through the PAC &amp; GEM Finance Manager, by design.<br>• Build a culture of accountability, insight, and ownership — finance as co-pilot, not just scorekeeper.<br>• Actively coach and stretch team members; foster internal mobility and talent succession across a geographically dispersed team.<br><br><strong>Strategic Alignment</strong><br>• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Global Franchise Teams, and Supply Chain to ensure strategic alignment.<br>• Bring best-practice commercial and regional finance discipline into APAC, drawing on global standards.<br><br><strong>Reporting &amp; Analytics</strong><br>• Deliver impactful financial dashboards and management reporting to drive decision-making.<br>• Collaborate with BI and systems teams to modernize tools and enhance forecast accuracy.<br><br><strong>Financial Stewardship</strong><br>• Drive compliance with financial policies and controls in partnership with Controllership and Corporate Finance.<br>• Protect the integrity of the financials while accelerating business momentum.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong></span><br>• 10–12+ years in Finance with a strong track record spanning Commercial Finance, FP&amp;A, and business partnering.<br>• Experience in CPG, retail, consumer tech, or fast-paced, brand-led industries.<br>• Clear success leading high-performing, multi-market finance teams.<br>• Deep knowledge of financial planning, pricing, customer P&amp;Ls, A&amp;P/overhead management, and consolidation.<br>• Strategic thinker who can zoom out and also dive into the detail.<br>• Exceptional communication and influencing skills at Senior Leadership level.<br>• Strong Excel and systems skills; experience with SAP, Power BI, or similar tools a plus.<br>• Energy.
