For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently.&nbsp;</p> </div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div></div><p>The Management Company of Standish Management is looking for an associate to oversee the accounting for the management companies of various venture capital and private equity funds across North America.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform duties for accounts payable and receivable</li> <li>Book journal entries, bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger</li> <li>Reconcile credit cards and expense reports</li> <li>Assist with monthly or quarterly reporting requirements</li> <li>Prepare 1099s and provide support for federal, state and local tax compliance</li> <li>Maintain various web-based accounting platforms</li> <li>Work on ad hoc requests from the client</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Required</li> <li>0-1 year of accounting and general ledger experience preferred</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel</li> <li>Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to multitask</li> <li>Ability to work in a team and individually</li> <li>Ability to effectively communicate to team members</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and work ethic</li> </ul> <p>*Compensation range: $60,000-73,000 annually. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.</p>
