Manages a team of distribution and&nbsp;packaging staff.</p> <p><strong>DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Forecasts and manages work volume, work schedules, and staffing levels to ensure business needs are&nbsp;met, acts as liaison with other departments.</li> <li>Sets goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s/departments plans and&nbsp;vision. Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses within team members and delegate projects and tasks&nbsp;accordingly.</li> <li>Ensures incoming and/or outgoing shipments are accurately received, tracked and transferred.</li> <li>Investigate and/or resolve freight discrepancies and issues.</li> <li>May oversee automated &amp; manual production lines and/or pick/pack assembly lines.</li> <li>Manages complex projects and demonstrates situational adaptability with fluctuating deadlines.</li> <li>Ensures tasks are being performed by staff according to training, safety and Occupational Safety and&nbsp;Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.</li> <li>Ensures company policies and established guidelines are followed for task completion, including meeting&nbsp;quality, efficiency, and accuracy standards. Facilitates quick and appropriate resolution of any and all&nbsp;challenges, discrepancies or miscommunications</li> <li>Drives innovation within the team, and develops methods for gathering metrics and workflow analysis to&nbsp;improve quality and efficiencies.</li> <li>Applies understanding of basic business finance including the ability to identify and quantify key drivers,&nbsp;develop, measure and report key metrics; assists manager in fiscal year budget planning.</li> <li>Monitors and evaluates performance of team and assess staff for the semi-annual review process.</li> <li>Coordinates with Manager and Human Resource representatives to resolve personnel/performance issues&nbsp;for assigned staff (coaching, documentation, etc.).</li> <li>Responsible for hiring decisions of hourly personnel and makes recommendations to manager for salary&nbsp;level.</li> </ul> <p><strong>SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of four years of related experience preferred.</li> <li>One (1) year of supervisory experience.</li> <li>Strong organizational, coaching and leadership abilities. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Able to present thoughts and feelings openly and&nbsp;constructively. Effective using nonverbal communication and body language. Can clearly convey, deliver&nbsp;and receive messages.</li> <li>Ability to delegate effectively allowing others to grow and work on meaningful and challenging tasks.</li> <li>Ability to identify, define, and analyze problems; use a problem-solving process; develop decision-making&nbsp;strategies; generate potential solutions; judge and evaluate results; choose and implement solutions (Plan-&nbsp;Do-Check-Act).</li> <li>Ability to work with highly confidential and/or sensitive matters.</li> <li>Advanced MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Power Point); IBM iSeries and Oracle EBS Applications&nbsp;knowledge preferred.</li> <li>Undergraduate degree in Business, Manufacturing, a related field, or the equivalent combination of&nbsp;education, training and experience.</li> <li>Specialized training in automated warehouse packaging and distribution systems or equivalent preferred.</li> <li>First Aid and CPR certification preferred.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.</p> <p>This position is on-site in North Bend, WA.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.</p></div><div class="title">Pay Range:</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$82,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$131,200 USD</span></div></div></div>
