Payroll Support at United Vein & Vascular Centers

<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>About the Role:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Payroll Specialist supports the Company’s payroll functions. This role must be able to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, multi-task, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The position reports directly to the Finance Manager.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Review timecards, time off, salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions to ensure accuracy for payroll processing in UKG.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Process payroll on biweekly, monthly, and off-cycle schedules with approval from the Finance Manager.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Answer employee or HR questions related to pay, taxes, time off, and employee benefits.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provide payroll reporting to HR and Finance.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain voluntary and non-voluntary deductions and allocations in employee records.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work with Finance Manager on year-end tasks.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Partner with Finance Manager on information systems, onboarding, offboarding and related tasks.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assist Finance Manager and HR in state, federal, and local payroll compliance related to payroll tax, time keeping, time off, earnings and deductions.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain internal systems by partnering with leaders within Finance and cross-departmental to support the company growth.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrate and promote a work culture committed to UVVC’s Core Values: Understanding, Nurturing, Ingenuity, Trust, Excellence, and Diversity.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with UVVC’s Standards of Conduct as outlined in our employee handbook.</span></li> <li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintains the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations.
