Please take a moment to browse through our website and learn more about what it means to serve with MKS2.</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><hr> <p></p> <p><strong>Web Content Manager (2 Openings)</strong></p> <p><strong>Contract:</strong> IDIQ Naval Postgraduate School Research and Educational Support Service (RES) IDIQ<br><strong>Task Order:</strong> NPS Extended Campus Support Services<br><strong>Location:</strong> Monterey, CA (Onsite at NPS)<br><strong>Clearance:</strong> Public Trust<br><strong>Salary:</strong> $85,000-$95,000</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p>We are seeking <strong>two Web Content Managers</strong> to support the Naval Postgraduate School’s Extended Campus programs. These roles focus on developing, writing, reviewing, and maintaining accessible, user‑friendly website content that supports academic departments, faculty, and institutional communications. The ideal candidates bring strong experience with content management systems, web accessibility standards, and plain‑language best practices.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop, write, edit, and maintain website content across academic and institutional web platforms.</li> <li>Ensure all content meets accessibility standards, usability guidelines, and plain‑language requirements.</li> <li>Use web analytics tools to evaluate content performance and recommend improvements.</li> <li>Collaborate with faculty, staff, and internal stakeholders to gather information and translate it into clear, engaging web content.</li> <li>Review and update existing pages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with institutional messaging.</li> <li>Support content governance processes and maintain documentation for web standards and workflows.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>5 years of experience</strong> working with web content management systems, web analytics, and accessible content development.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience writing, reviewing, and presenting website content using plain‑language best practices.</li> <li><strong>BA/BS degree</strong> in a relevant professional discipline.</li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a <strong>Public Trust</strong> clearance.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Desired Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience leading the development and management of website content for an academic department or higher‑education institution.</li> <li>Proven ability to oversee and maintain responsibility for writing, editing, and recommending website content in collaboration with internal teams and external contributors.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p> <ul> <li>These positions require <strong>onsite work</strong> at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.</li> <li>U.S. Citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: MKS2 Technologies is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p></div>
