This role provides critical support across litigation, regulatory, and corporate matters for a group of affiliated entities, including a software company (NinjaTrader, LLC), a regulated futures commission merchant (NinjaTrader Clearing, LLC), and an educational company (NT Technologies, LLC). This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment at the intersection of technology, financial services, and regulation.  In this role you will:  <ul> <li>Assist the legal team in all phases of litigation, including responding to discovery requests (document collection, review, and production)  </li> <li>Support responses to subpoenas and third-party information requests  </li> <li>Manage and maintain legal holds and document preservation processes  </li> <li>Assist with contract lifecycle management, including organizing, tracking, and maintaining agreements  </li> <li>Prepare and file corporate documents, including regulatory and corporate filings  </li> <li>Maintain corporate records, minute books, and entity documentation across multiple affiliated companies  </li> <li>Docket and track legal deadlines, court dates, and regulatory obligations  </li> <li>Review and process legal invoices and assist with outside counsel billing management  </li> <li>Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on legal matters  </li> <li>Conduct basic legal and regulatory research as needed  </li> <li>Support compliance-related tasks and internal policies  </li> <li>Perform general administrative and organizational duties typical of a paralegal role within a FinTech environment  </li> </ul> What you'll need:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred  </li> <li>2+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant (experience in financial services or FinTech preferred)  </li> <li>Familiarity with litigation processes, discovery, and subpoena response workflows  </li> <li>Experience with contract management and corporate record keeping  </li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail  </li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment  </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills  </li> <li>Proficiency with standard business software, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and document management systems  </li> <li>Experience working with regulated entities (e.g., broker-dealers, FCMs, or similar) is a plus  </li> </ul> Bonus points for:  <ul> <li>Familiarity with futures industry regulations (CFTC, NFA) is a plus  </li> <li>Experience with e-discovery tools and legal billing systems  </li> <li>Exposure to corporate governance practices and compliance frameworks  </li> </ul> Compensation:  The salary range for this role will be $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 8%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).  Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.  Location: This role is based in Chicago, Illinois.  Hybrid: For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
