This position will report to a Program Manager and will support multiple ongoing projects with one of our clients, a NYC Public Agency.</p> <p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li style="text-align: left;">Administer and coordinate construction activities for complex and/or high-visibility projects.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors and vendors.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Manage project planning, problem-solving, and execution to ensure smooth project delivery.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Uphold quality, compliance, and performance standards across all consultants, vendors, and contractors.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Maintain continuous communication with contractors, construction managers, client personnel, and senior project staff.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Contribute to the development and enforcement of project policies in line with Authority-wide procedures.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Review contractor claims and disputes; compile necessary documentation and advise senior management on appropriate resolutions.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Support jobsite reporting requirements, including: daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports and updates to the two-week lookahead schedules, and monthly updates to the overall construction schedule.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost control records.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Perform related duties as assigned.</li> </ul> </div> <div class="wpjb-text"> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Construction management experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred.</li> <li>Minimum of eight (8) years of work experience as a technical specialist in the construction industry.</li> <li>At least four (4) of these years must have been involved in managing all phases of construction work on multiple projects.</li> <li>Experience in new and modernization type construction.</li> <li>Proven experience in interpreting contract documents (specifications, drawings, shop drawings).</li> <li>Valid New York or New Jersey State driver’s license.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field. <span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">#LI-Onsite #ZR</span></p> </div><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Salary</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$125,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$140,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.</em></p></div>
