Pediatric Speech Therapy Supervisor (PROMPT Training or certification and AAC strongly preferred) $1,000 Sign-On Bonus to be paid after 90 days of employment   Details about this opportunity:  Location: Westchester County Status: Full-Time, hybrid schedule Hours: Monday-Friday, 8-4 or 9-5 Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 **Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition, the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. Team members receive paid sick and safe leave consistent with state and local regulations to support their health, family, and safety needs.   Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Works closely and collaboratively with the Assistant Director and Clinical Director of the company to determine and delegate short-term and long-term clinical improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Collaborates with Assistant Director and Clinical Director in the development and implementation of internal trainings for continuing education, compliance, and professional growth to all employees</li> <li>Participate in collaborative team meetings clinical providers, clinicians, and paraprofessionals</li> <li>Assisting in Managing the schedule, supervision, and evaluation of designated team members</li> <li>Attend Professional Development Trainings, as required</li> <li>Provide direct and/or indirect services to students and families, conduct evaluations, and/or provide coverage for staff absences as deemed necessary by their supervisors.</li> <li>Four administrative hours a week</li> <li>Assisting the Assistant Directors for the following:</li> <ul> <li>Field phone calls/emails/texts from therapists</li> <li>Report reading</li> <li>Training new therapists:</li> <li>Interpreting and understanding IEPs</li> <li>Log writing</li> <li>Report writing</li> <li>Guidance regarding communication with county coordinators/school districts /parents with concerns</li> <li>Explanations of forms (meeting forms, request for meetings forms, how to determine appropriate ICD-10 codes (speech and counseling) and CPT codes</li> <li>Answer and assist them with questions ranging from clinical concerns to billing</li> <li>Evaluation training</li> <li>Direct observations of specific children who are difficult to either manage behaviorally or who have multiple needs (language, cognition, motor, etc.,)</li> </ul> </ul>     Additional Responsibilities may include:   <ul> <li>Utilizing Excel to track all key indicators</li> <li>Performs other work as may be assigned by the line leaders</li> <li>Utilizing online programs or platforms to provide support as needed</li> </ul>    About You:  If you have these attributes:  <ul> <li>Sterling values and integrity</li> <li>Strong Leadership skills</li> <li>Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work</li> <li>Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations</li> <li>Understand and demonstrate the company core values</li> <li>Conduct self in accordance with all company policies and procedures</li> <li>Must be a motivated professional and innovative thinker</li> <li>Must be a team player who can work with other professionals outside of their expertise</li> <li>Must exercise patience and professionalism</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Excellent & positive communication skills both oral and written</li> <li>Ability to prioritize work for self</li> <li>Flexible and open to change</li> <li>Be friendly & approachable (service oriented)</li> </ul>   And this background:  <ul> <li>Current New York State Speech Language Pathology License</li> <li>Current NYSED TSSLD (Speech and Language Disabilities) or TSHH (Speech and Hearing Handicapped) Certification</li> <li>Minimum of three years of experience working with children with special needs, ages birth through 21</li> <li>Minimum of 1 year of experience providing supervision and feedback to clinicians</li> <li>Proficient computer skills: MS Word, Excel, EMR</li> </ul>   Then we are looking forward to receiving your resume!     ** Disclaimer: Please note the most current compensation information for all open positions at Family of Kidz can be found on our careers page at FamilyofKidz.com, which supersedes all other sources and job sites.      #INDFOK<div class="content-conclusion"><div> Why Join our Family?  </div> <div> Since 1998, Family of Kidz has brought together highly qualified teams of professionals who work diligently to help children with special needs, from birth to adulthood.
