Together, we’re helping everyone design, prototype, and manufacture faster than ever before. The Senior Event Marketing Specialist is based at our largest European office, in Budapest. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Design and Leadership to shape how Formlabs shows up on some of our most important stages. This role owns the strategy, planning, execution, and performance of a portfolio of events, with a strong focus on key trade shows and Formlabs-owned events. Formlabs participates in approximately 20 trade shows annually, ranging from smaller, 12sqm booths to large-format exhibits of over 200sqm, while continuously bringing new products and applications to market. You will independently define and execute event programs, collaborate across functions to achieve clear objectives, and continuously improve how our experiential marketing efforts support the business. The Job: <ul> <li>Own a portfolio of various trade shows, from 12sqm to 200+sqm</li> <li>Develop and execute plans to achieve event objectives, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes are delivered</li> <li>Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, including pre/post-event campaigns, staffing, booth management, and internal enablement for demos and presentations</li> <li>Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure event presence effectively represents the brand and showcases our growing product portfolio</li> <li>Manage budgets, contracts, vendors, and logistics, optimizing spend and operational efficiency across multiple event formats</li> <li>Serve as a visible brand ambassador, building relationships with customers, partners, and prospects onsite</li> <li>Gather and analyze event performance insights, using learnings to continuously improve formats, messaging, and attendee experience</li> <li>Collaborate across Sales, Product, Design, and Marketing teams, providing recommendations and influencing decisions to maximize event impact</li> <li>Responsible for ordering and tracking event inventory including collateral, giveaways, etc.</li> <li>Travel as needed (~25% of the time) to attend events, oversee execution, and support onsite teams - mostly within Europe</li> </ul> You: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline</li> <li>5+ years of experience in event marketing, including owning and executing complex B2B trade show and event programs</li> <li>Proven experience managing multi-event portfolios with booths ranging from small to large-format, including planning, execution, and reporting</li> <li>Experience supporting product launches and evolving product portfolios through events, ensuring effective market positioning</li> <li>Strong project management skills, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects, resources, budgets, and onsite personnel under tight deadlines</li> <li>Excellent communication skills - written, oral, and cross-functional collaboration, including partnering effectively with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams</li> <li>Data and metric-driven, with the ability to draw insights from event and marketing data to optimize outcomes</li> <li>Creative, innovative, and proactive - able to identify new opportunities and think outside the box to improve event experiences</li> <li>Confident, friendly, and dynamic personality, able to serve as a brand ambassador at events</li> <li>Comfortable traveling ~25% of the time to attend events and oversee onsite execution</li> </ul> Bonus Skills: <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in a fast-growing startup environment</li> </ul> We Offer: <ul> <li>Hybrid work</li> <li>Catered lunch at the office 3 days per week</li> <li>Private health insurance with Medicare (Blue package + hospital coverage)</li> <li>A monthly or quarterly public transportation pass for Budapest</li> <li>Shares in the company (we're a double unicorn company!)</li> <li>Free beverages and snacks at the office</li> <li>All You Can Move sports pass</li> <li>Free 3D prints</li> <li>An inclusive, dog-friendly office with diverse and inspiring colleagues</li> <li>Development opportunities both in-house and off-site</li> <li>Fun team events </li> </ul> We build amazing things.
