<p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Contracts Manager, Springer Mineral Processing Plant</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Winnemucca, Humboldt County, Nevada</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Remote with travel to site as needed.</span></strong></p> <h1><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Purpose</span></h1> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The role requires a structured and commercially focused professional who will manage, negotiate, and administer contracts across projects and operations, excluding any primary EPC contracts while supporting EPC activities as required. The position is central to ensuring contractual compliance, commercial control, and risk management across services, equipment, and operational agreements. The role will also be instrumental in establishing contract management processes in SAP and ensuring governance, transparency, and alignment across all contract interfaces.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">What will you do?</span></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts for projects and operations (services, equipment, and support contracts), including Change Order Management</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage full contract lifecycle including requests for proposals (RFP), bid evaluation and supplier selection, execution, variations, claims, and close-out</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Review and validate invoices as required and support approvals in line with Delegation of Authority</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and applicable legal requirements</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Interface as required with legal advisors and support interpretation of contractual obligations</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain contract-related registers, obligation tracking, and documentation control</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Monitor contract performance and identify risks, deviations, and opportunities</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide contract support to EPC packages and coordinate with EPC Contract Manager, as required</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Act as superuser for contract management in SAP and related systems</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate with purchasers to ensure alignment between contracts and purchasing activities</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with project teams, finance, and external contractors on contract execution</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure accurate reporting on contract status, risks, and commercial performance</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support contract close-out including final accounts and documentation handover</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Submit contract management reports as defined by the company.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Qualifications and Experience:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration, Law or other relevant field.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5-8 years of relevant contracts management experience preferably in the mining sector.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in the construction, oil &amp; gas, mineral processing and heavy industrial sector considered an asset.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong proficiency in Excel, Adobe and SAP is required.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span> <div><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong negotiation skills, including bid clarification, commercial evaluation, and securing favourable contractual terms that protect the company’s interests.</span></div> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> <div><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels, building productive relationships across internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and advisors.</span></div> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong> This is a remote role with travel to site 25%-35% of the time.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></p> <p><strong>Pay Range And Compensation Package</strong></p> <p>Compensation and benefits details will be discussed during the interview process.</p> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement</strong></p> <p>We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
