This internship offers hands-on experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, and cross-functional business operations within a fast-paced aerospace environment. Interns will work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams on real projects that directly impact program execution.</p> <p>This is a&nbsp;<strong>12-week full-time</strong> internship at our office in <strong>Long Beach, CA</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support daily supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics coordination, inventory management, and demand planning activities.</li> <li>Assist with demand forecasting, material requirements planning (MRP), and supply-demand balancing to support production and build schedules.</li> <li>Help maintain and analyze demand signals, Bill of Material changes, lead times, propose safety stock values, and inventory levels across programs.</li> <li>Compile, analyze, and visualize supply chain and business data to support operational and planning decisions.</li> <li>Support cross-functional initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, material availability, and overall supply chain performance.</li> <li>Assist with documentation of supply chain processes, KPIs, assumptions, and planning methodologies.</li> <li>Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on data accuracy, workflow efficiency, and scalability.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis techniques.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li> <li>Ability to work full-time onsite in Long Beach, CA.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior internship, project, or coursework experience in supply chain, demand planning, business operations, or business analytics.</li> <li>Experience with data and analysis tools such as:</li> <li>Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups; macros/VBA a plus)</li> <li>SQL for querying and analyzing datasets</li> <li>Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar</li> <li>Familiarity with forecasting, inventory management, or capacity planning concepts.</li> <li>Exposure to ERP, MRP, or planning systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).</li> <li>Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Interest in aerospace, manufacturing, or high-growth technology environments.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pay Range:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate: $35/hr</li> <li>Master's: $40/hr</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range: California</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$35</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$40 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><div style="line-height: 1;"><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS</strong></div> <div style="line-height: 1;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="line-height: 1;"> <div> <div data-qa="message_pane"> <div> <div id="message-list"> <div id="message-list"> <div data-qa="slack_kit_scrollbar"> <div> <div data-qa="slack_kit_list"> <div id="message-list_1770163429.476589" data-qa="virtual-list-item" data-item-key="1770163429.476589"> <div data-qa="message_container" data-qa-unprocessed="false" data-qa-placeholder="false" data-msg-ts="1770163429.476589" data-msg-channel-id="D1T52LDR4"> <div data-qa-hover="true"> <div> <div> <div> <div data-qa="message_content"> <div> <div data-qa="message-text"> <div data-qa="block-kit-renderer"> <div> <div> <div>Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
