You will shape the long-term technical strategy, drive execution excellence, and build a high-performing engineering organization in India that supports a globally deployed SaaS platform.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Define and execute the long-term engineering roadmap for the SSE platform aligned with business objectives.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Establish strong architectural governance, engineering best practices, and quality standards.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Champion secure-by-design principles across application code, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Partner closely with Product Management to evolve core SSE capabilities including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), CASB, policy engines, traffic inspection, analytics, and identity integrations.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Recruit and retain top engineering talent in cloud, distributed systems, and cybersecurity domains.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, operational rigor, and continuous improvement.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience:</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>15+ years in software development and 5+ years in engineering leadership</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Proven experience building and scaling SaaS engineering teams.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong track record of delivering complex, cloud-native security or networking products.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>Deep understanding of SSE/SASE architecture principles and zero-trust frameworks.</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong background in distributed systems, microservices architectures, and hyperscale environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with<strong> identity systems (SSO, MFA, OAuth, SAML)</strong>, policy engines, and traffic inspection frameworks.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Familiarity with DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, observability, reliability engineering, and automation.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Proficiency in modern programming languages such as <strong>Go and Python.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>#LI-DS9</p> <p>#LI-Pune</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p> <p>#LI-SSE</p> <p>#LI-ZeroTrust</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>SonicWall is an equal opportunity employer.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are an equal opportunity employer.
