Start your journey today and join our skilled team.</p></div><p>We are seeking a&nbsp;<strong>Project Executive</strong> to support some of the most innovative, complex, and large-scale <strong>data center and mission-critical construction projects</strong> in the country. This role will be instrumental in delivering RMCI’s first-generation programs as a General Contractor within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.&nbsp;</p> <p><em><strong><u>Per Diem Available for This Role — Apply today and ask your recruiter for details.</u></strong></em></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to manage complex <strong>data center / mission-critical construction projects</strong>, or a large-scale program with a high degree of effectiveness, accuracy, and accountability.</li> <li>Effectively communicates and collaborates with Vice President(s) of Operations and Field Operations to align execution strategies across multiple projects and regions.</li> <li>Has overall responsibility for <strong>project team success</strong>, including alignment with RMCI culture and Core Values, in addition to:</li> <ul> <li>Safety</li> <li>Quality</li> <li>Schedule</li> <li>Client satisfaction</li> <li>Profitability</li> </ul> <li>Ensures all <strong>Project Manager responsibilities</strong> are properly managed and executed across all assigned projects.</li> <li>Lead and/or support <strong>business development efforts</strong>, including:</li> <ul> <li>Client relationship development (hyperscalers, developers, colocation providers)</li> <li>Proposal strategy and delivery</li> <li>Presentations and contract negotiations</li> </ul> <li>Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with:</li> <ul> <li>Owners (e.g., hyperscale clients)</li> <li>Engineers / design teams</li> <li>Trade partners (especially MEP and mission-critical subs)</li> </ul> <li>Responsible for understanding and negotiating:</li> <ul> <li>Prime contracts</li> <li>Subcontracts</li> <li>Purchase orders</li> <li>Risk allocation strategies specific to large-scale data center builds</li> </ul> <li>Ensures <strong>change orders and contract amendments</strong> are executed timely and within signatory authority.</li> <li>Reviews and validates:</li> <ul> <li>Cost models and GMP structures</li> <li>Construction schedules (including fast-track/phased turnover strategies)</li> <li>Procurement plans for long-lead electrical/mechanical equipment</li> </ul> <li>Drives successful execution of <strong>mission-critical scopes</strong>, including:</li> <ul> <li>Electrical infrastructure (MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, busway)</li> <li>Mechanical systems (cooling plants, CRAH/CRAC systems)</li> <li>Commissioning and turnover processes</li> </ul> <li>Champions the transition from <strong>preconstruction </strong><strong>→</strong><strong> construction </strong><strong>→</strong><strong> commissioning </strong><strong>→</strong><strong> turnover</strong>, ensuring continuity and accountability across phases.</li> <li>Supports <strong>national expansion efforts</strong> and helps scale RMCI’s presence in the data center market.</li> <li>Mentors and develops Project Managers and senior field leadership for future leadership roles.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp; </strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to assume responsibility and effectively communicate with:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Hyperscale / enterprise clients</li> <li>Executive leadership</li> <li>Project teams and field operations</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>10+ years</strong> in Project, Program, or Construction Management roles</li> <li><strong>5+ years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial/industrial construction</strong><br><em>(Data center experience strongly preferred)</em></li> <li>Strong understanding of:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Fast-track construction delivery models</li> <li>Phased turnover / early energization strategies</li> <li>High-reliability environments (redundancy, uptime requirements)</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience managing <strong>large-scale electrical and mechanical scopes</strong>, including coordination of critical systems:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Substations / utility interface</li> <li>Switchgear, transformers, PDUs, RPPs</li> <li>Backup generation and redundancy systems</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with <strong>commissioning processes</strong> and turnover requirements for mission-critical facilities</li> <li>Proven experience managing <strong>complex stakeholder environments</strong> and high-value contracts</li> <li>Strong industry network within:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Data center developers</li> <li>Engineers/Designers</li> <li>Mission-critical subcontractors</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)</li> <li>Strong leadership presence with excellent:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Organizational skills</li> <li>Communication skills (verbal and written)</li> <li>Presentation capabilities</li> </ul> <li>Demonstrated success leading teams and delivering <strong>large-scale projects ($500M+)</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Education &amp; Certifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Construction Management, or Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relative construction experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager or Project/Construction Executive</li> <li><strong> </strong>Extensive relative construction experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Safety Level</strong><strong> <br></strong></p> <p style="margin: 0in;
