This role owns <strong>Greater China marketing strategy and execution</strong>, with clear accountability for <strong>budget management, demand generation performance, and team leadership</strong> across the entier Greater China region including Macao, Hongkong, Taiwan.</p> <p>This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands how to win in the <strong>China B2B SaaS market</strong>—balancing localization, speed, and creativity with <strong>operational rigor, measurable impact, and long-term growth</strong>.</p> <p>This role reports to the Managing Director of Greater China.&nbsp; This role is based in Shanghai China.</p> <h2><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></h2> <h4><strong>Greater China Strategy &amp; Ownership</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Help drive and execute the <strong>Greater China marketing strategy</strong>, aligned with regional revenue, pipeline, and growth objectives</li> <li>Act as the senior marketing leader and voice for Greater China, with deep understanding of the <strong>local market, customers, competitors, and ecosystem</strong></li> <li>Translate global positioning and strategy into <strong>China-relevant go-to-market plans, messaging, and execution</strong></li> <li>Become a domain expert in the area of Partnership automation, affiliate marketing, to help contribute to ensure the company’s continued thought leadership in the area of Partnership marketing in Greater China</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Demand Generation &amp; Performance</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Own <strong>demand generation performance across Greater China</strong>, optimizing the full funnel from lead acquisition to conversion and nurturing</li> <li>Establish and maintain <strong>clear KPIs, dashboards, and reporting</strong> across campaigns and channels</li> <li>Drive continuous optimization across channels based on performance, ROI, and pipeline impact</li> <li>Ensure marketing delivers <strong>high-quality leads and measurable revenue contribution</strong></li> </ul> <h4><strong>Budget &amp; Operational Excellence</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Own the <strong>Greater China marketing budget</strong>, including forecasting, allocation, and ROI tracking</li> <li>Make disciplined investment decisions aligned with growth priorities and performance data</li> <li>Ensure all marketing initiatives are delivered <strong>on time, on budget, and with clear outcomes</strong></li> </ul> <h4><strong>Localization, Content &amp; Product Marketing</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Lead regional <strong>content, product marketing, events, and digital marketing</strong> efforts</li> <li>Own <strong>localization of messaging, positioning, and content</strong> to ensure clarity, relevance, and differentiation in the China market</li> <li>Oversee thought leadership, campaigns, events, and sales enablement assets that support demand generation and pipeline growth</li> <li>Ensure strong and consistent positioning across <strong>web, digital platforms, social channels, and field marketing</strong></li> </ul> <h4><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Development</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Build, lead, and develop a <strong>high-performing Greater China marketing team</strong></li> <li>Set clear goals, priorities, and accountability, acting as a <strong>leader rather than just a manager</strong></li> <li>Create a culture of <strong>ownership, performance, collaboration, and resilience</strong></li> </ul> <h4><strong>Cross-Functional Partnership</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Partner closely with <strong>Sales leadership in Greater China</strong> to ensure strong alignment on pipeline targets, lead quality, and outcomes</li> <li>Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders across <strong>product, sales enablement, and operations</strong> to ensure alignment and execution excellence</li> <li>Serve as a bridge between <strong>global marketing strategy and local execution</strong></li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You <em>Bring: </em></strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>10+ years of B2B marketing experience</strong>, ideally in SaaS or high-growth technology companies</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience across <strong>demand generation, content, product marketing, and events</strong></li> <li>Solid understanding of the <strong>China digital marketing and advertising ecosystem</strong></li> <li>Proven experience managing <strong>budgets, forecasting, and performance optimization</strong></li> <li>Highly <strong>data-driven</strong>, with a strong focus on results, ROI, and business impact</li> <li>Demonstrated <strong>people leadership experience</strong>, with the ability to build and retain strong local teams</li> <li>Experience leading <strong>regional or cross-border marketing</strong> in Greater China is strongly preferred</li> <li>Long-term mindset, with willingness to <strong>grow with the company over the next 3–5 years</strong></li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field</li> <li>Advertising or agency background is a plus, but not required</li> <li><strong>Fluent in Mandarin and English</strong>, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Benefits and Perks: </strong></h2> <p>At impact.com, we believe that when you’re happy and fulfilled, you do your best work.
