About the Role

The Role

You won’t just build — you’ll lead the direction of builders.

As a Product Strategist, you’ll support 2–3 pods of /COMMIT associates (each pod = 2 people).
You are responsible for what gets built, how it gets built, and whether it actually matters.

This is not middle management.
This is hands-on leadership.

You’ll set direction, unblock problems, enforce standards, and make sure every pod is shipping real work that aligns with the Chairman’s vision.

You are the connective tissue between ambition and execution.

What You’ll Own

Pod Leadership: Lead 2–3 pods end-to-end. Set direction, drive execution, and hold the bar high.

Problem Solving: Own day-to-day decisions. When things get unclear or messy (they will), you make the call.

Program Direction: Translate high-level vision into real, shippable work.

Content Ownership: Define what gets built, why it matters, and what “good” looks like.

Execution & Delivery: Ensure pods ship consistently — not eventually.

Stakeholder management: Work with SMEs and executives across Clover to define solutions that work.

Standards & Consistency: Maintain quality and alignment across pods.

Strategic Direction: Shape the roadmap and ensure alignment with Clover’s overall vision, not just follow it.

What We’re Looking For

You’ve been in the arena.

5+ years building and shipping real products or systems.

Deep product and technical instincts — you know what matters and what doesn’t.

Experience leading teams, even informally — people follow your direction.

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions without perfect data.

You probably:

Taught yourself things no one asked you to learn.

Built systems people actually used.

Shipped imperfect v1s that mattered.

Fixed problems yourself instead of waiting.

Keep doing things / tweaking things to perfect.

Prefer to take action and learn rather than waiting for full alignment.

Found ways in when doors were closed.

You don’t just “manage.”

You build, decide, and drive.

What You’ll Do

Solve real problems in healthcare — one of the most broken industries that exists.

Build and deploy AI-driven systems that actually get used.

Lead teams that ship production-grade code.

Turn ambiguity into execution.

Make sure work doesn’t just start — it finishes.

This is hard.

Healthcare is messy — regulations, legacy systems, bad incentives.
We’re fixing it with AI, but it’s not glamorous.

You’ll work in person, in NYC.

You’ll deal with real data, real constraints, real consequences.

You’ll ship systems that impact Clover’s rapidly growing membership and beyond.

Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$180,000—$220,000 USD
