You'll work closely with our designer and product owner to transform mockups into elegant, performant user interfaces while establishing and expanding the architectural foundation for our front-end codebase.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></div> </div> <ul> <li><strong>Translate design to reality: </strong>Partner with our designer to implement mockups, ensuring pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces that delight users</li> <li><strong>Take ownership of the front-end: </strong>Inherit and improve our existing codebase, coding and refactoring toward DRY principles, establishing clear patterns, and continuously improving the architectural foundation</li> <li><strong>Drive technical decisions: </strong>Own the evolution of our UI layer, from component architecture to state management to testing strategies</li> <li><strong>Ship quality code: </strong>Write well-tested, reviewed code that performs across browsers and devices</li> <li><strong>Collaborate with the team: </strong>Work closely with Product Owner, Designer, developers, and QA to refine requirements, identify technical tradeoffs, and deliver quality features</li> <li><strong>Mentor and elevate: </strong>Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and raise the bar for front-end development practices</li> <li><strong>Move fast, stay organized: </strong>Balance rapid feature development with continuous improvement of code quality and maintainability</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>What You Bring:</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li> <div><strong>Training:&nbsp;</strong>BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience</div> </li> <li><strong>Formal experience:&nbsp;</strong>6+ years of professional front-end development experience in a team environment</li> <li><strong>Strong front-end skills:&nbsp;</strong>Deep expertise in React, JavaScript, modern front-end frameworks and CSS</li> <li><strong>Design sensibility:&nbsp;</strong>Eye for design, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with designers</li> <li><strong>Architectural thinking:&nbsp;</strong>You don't just code; you organize, structure, and architect front-end applications for clarity and maintainability</li> <li><strong>Ownership mindset:&nbsp;</strong>Comfortable inheriting existing code, identifying improvements, and incrementally refactoring toward better patterns</li> <li><strong>Clean code advocate:&nbsp;</strong>Champion DRY principles, object-oriented patterns, and writing code others can easily understand</li> <li><strong>Cross-browser expertise:&nbsp;</strong>Understand browser quirks and write performant, compatible code</li> <li><strong>Testing mindset:&nbsp;</strong>Experience with front-end unit testing and code quality practices</li> <li><strong>Collaboration skills:&nbsp;</strong>Work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly</li> </ul> </div> <div> <p><strong>Why You’ll Love It Here:</strong></p> <p>Working at RF-SMART means joining a culture that values growth, collaboration, and innovation.
