Groups & Care Coordinator at Christ Fellowship

<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The <strong>Groups &amp; Care Coordinator</strong> provides leadership and direction for the Groups &amp; Care ministry at the Boca Raton campus.&nbsp; This individual shepherds and leads group leaders, class facilitators, coaches, and volunteers while cultivating a healthy culture of spiritual growth, prayer, pastoral care, leadership development, and group multiplication.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate one or more of the following spiritual gifts: leadership, discernment, exhortation, teaching, and pastor/shepherd.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>JOB DUTIES:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Invite and Resource Leaders</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute the Central Groups &amp; Care vision and strategy while championing Groups and biblical community across all campus ministries.</li> <li>Continually invite, develop, and resource Group Leaders, Coaches, Class Facilitators, Prayer Team members, and Care volunteers.</li> <li>Maintain sufficient open Groups across key demographics by developing new leaders, identifying co-leaders, and creating opportunities for healthy multiplication.</li> <li>Facilitate New Leader Orientation, Leader Interest Meetings, and other training opportunities to equip leaders for ministry.</li> <li>Develop and support Coaches who equip, encourage, pray for, and provide ongoing pastoral care for leaders.</li> <li>Facilitate regular Leader Community opportunities while helping leaders identify and develop co-leaders and multiply healthy Groups.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pastoral Care &amp; Prayer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and support Prayer Teams while developing volunteers to help care for people.</li> <li>Help with triage counseling, pastoral care, and prayer as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Administration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work with the Campus Pastor and the Central Groups &amp; Care team to establish and execute semester Groups &amp; Care goals.</li> <li>Lead the day-to-day execution of Groups, Classes, care, and prayer in partnership with Central Groups &amp; Care and campus teams.</li> <li>Maintain accurate ministry information in Rock (our church's relationship management database) and on the Christ Fellowship website while monitoring and reporting key Groups &amp; Care goals and measurables.</li> <li>Manage the campus Groups &amp; Care budget and ensure ministry resources are stewarded effectively.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; CHARACTERISTICS:</strong></p> <p>The Groups &amp; Care Coordinator should:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a growing and mature relationship with Jesus Christ and model Christ Fellowship’s mission, values, and leader values.</li> <li>Be a relational people bringer with a heart for connecting, shepherding, recruiting, and developing people and volunteer leaders.</li> <li>Communicate biblical truth clearly while demonstrating wisdom, discernment, compassion, and discretion in pastoral care situations.</li> <li>Build healthy relationships and collaborate effectively with staff, leaders, Coaches, and volunteers.</li> <li>Demonstrate strong organizational skills, initiative, follow-through, and comfort with church-management and web-based systems.</li> <li>Be willing to maintain a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.</li> </ul> <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2-4 years of ministry-related experience, including experience recruiting, developing, and leading volunteer teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>JOB SPECS:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Classification: Full-Time, Salary (Exempt)<br>Reporting to: Campus Pastor</p>
