This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers will build our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.    We are seeking a Registered Nurse (or LPN) to provide compassionate direct patient care to all of our populations. If you are passionate about providing your patients with exemplary care, while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric conditions, you would be a great addition to our team. In partnership with the rest of the Golden Valley team, you will play a key role in building and shaping a strong culture at the location.   This is a full-time onsite position, with a schedule of Monday-Friday 8am-4pm/8:30am-4:30pm What You’ll Do <ul> <li>Medication administration </li> <li>Nursing Assessments </li> <li>Measuring & recording vitals </li> <li>Phone triage </li> <li>Performing basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies </li> <li>Maintaining medication inventory </li> <li>Recording patient history and medical findings </li> <li>Assisting providers with writing laboratory orders and retrieving results </li> <li>Assisting with the completion of medical documentation for patients and their families </li> <li>Coordinating with insurance companies for medication and diagnostic prior authorizations </li> <li>Assisting providers with prescription refills </li> <li>Specimen collection </li> <li>Provide support & assistance to the organization’s committees </li> <li>Provide support and assistance during crisis or emergency situations </li> </ul> Who You Are <ul> <li>Hold a BSN degree (preferred) or LPN </li> <li>Are a Registered Nurse or LPN with current licensure to practice in Minnesota</li> <li>Are certified in Healthcare Provider CPR </li> <li>Have a minimum of 1 year of Hospital Experience (preferred) </li> <li>Have experience in mental health (preferred) </li> <li>Possess excellent therapeutic communication skills </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">We know job descriptions can be intimidating, so if this sounds like an opportunity for you, please don't hesitate to apply!  Who We Are  Compass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, bringing passion, connection, and patient-centered care to the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP).
