<p><u>Position Summary</u></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Sony Honda Mobility of America is seeking an </span><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Expense Governance & Corporate Card Lead</span></strong><span data-contrast="auto"> to establish and own the company’s end-to-end employee expense and corporate card governance framework. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">This is not a transactional processing role. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing scalable expense reimbursement processes and corporate card controls that support a rapidly growing organization. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">You will serve as the primary owner of expense governance across SHMA, balancing strong internal controls with operational efficiency. You will operate onsite at our Culver City headquarters and partner closely with Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal, and business leaders to strengthen financial discipline, audit readiness, and responsible spend management as SHMA scales. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<p><u>Job Responsibilities</u></p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Expense Governance & Process Ownership </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Own and continuously improve SHMA’s end-to-end employee expense reimbursement and corporate card processes </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Design scalable governance frameworks, review standards, and formal policy documentation </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure compliance with pre-approval requirements and documented business purpose standards </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Analyze spend trends and provide actionable insights to Finance leadership </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Establish monitoring controls that support compliant and responsible employee spending </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Corporate Card & Spend Oversight </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Lead corporate card program governance, transaction monitoring, and lifecycle management </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Implement controls to prevent duplicate or inappropriate spend such as card versus AP invoice duplication </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Oversee reconciliation coordination, accrual support, and spend transparency </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Monitor cardholder compliance and usage patterns to identify risk areas </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Systems & Data Integrity </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Safeguard data accuracy to support audit readiness and reliable management reporting </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Partner with Finance Systems and Accounting to enhance reporting clarity and system configuration</span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Partner cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Tax, HR, and business stakeholders </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Support audit requests and tax-sensitive expense classification reviews </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure expense governance aligns with evolving regulatory and compliance requirements </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Required Qualifications for Position</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">5+ years of experience in expense operations, accounts payable, operational accounting, or spend governance </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong understanding of internal controls and governance principles </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Solid accounting knowledge including expense classification, accruals, and GL impact </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>

<p><em>The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $95,000-$105,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. </em></p>
