Please take a moment to browse through our website and learn more about what it means to serve with MKS2.</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <div> <h2>Senior Systems Engineer – LTAMDS Radar</h2> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Tewksbury, MA (50 Apple Hill Drive, Assabet – Building 1)<br><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM<br><strong>Pay: $125,000 - negotiable based on experience </strong><br><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours/week - 12-month contract</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Clearance: <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Must have active Secret Clearance (DoD)</em></span></strong></p> <hr> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Systems Engineer</strong> to support the development and full life-cycle of the <strong>Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) radar</strong>. This role involves hands-on systems engineering across requirements development, integration, test, verification, and performance analysis in both simulated and real-world environments.</p> <hr> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Develop system requirements, algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces</li> <li>Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation for simulated and operational environments</li> <li>Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues through detailed data analysis and debugging</li> <li>Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation activities</li> <li>Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality and performance impact</li> <li>Develop integration documentation, execute integration plans, analyze results, and verify system requirements</li> <li>Communicate technical findings, risks, and results clearly to leadership and key stakeholders</li> <li>Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Required Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Minimum <strong>5 years of prior engineering experience</strong></li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)</strong></li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Desired Skills &amp; Experience</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test</li> <li>Experience developing scripts and functions using <strong>MATLAB</strong></li> <li>Experience developing and managing technical requirements</li> <li>Proficiency with <strong>C++, Python, or similar programming languages</strong></li> <li>Experience generating technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, and technical reports</li> <li>Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or field environment supporting integration and/or verification</li> <li>Experience evaluating systems using simulated environments</li> <li>Experience interfacing with internal and external customers</li> </ul> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: MKS2 Technologies is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p></div>
