The Custodian will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of their assigned area throughout Sphere. This position will be responsible for the daily cleanliness of entire area as well as any daily or weekly special cleaning projects on a regular basis. What will you do? <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Shampooing, spotting, stripping, and waxing, burnishing, detail cleaning, scrubbing floors with specialized machines. Pressure washing exterior of building as needed.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain the cleanliness of all restrooms during events; removes restroom trash and maintains restroom supplies.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Service and maintain trash compactor area.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Create an inviting and positive atmosphere that generates positive and memorable guest experiences.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.  </li> </ul> What do you need to succeed? <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Must have previous experience with operating and maintaining floor scrubbers, ride-on floor scrubber machines, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and detail cleaning.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Must be proficient at utilizing necessary equipment and safety requirements for said equipment.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Must possess understanding of cleaning solutions and application of said solutions.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Previous guest service experience required. </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Must be able to communicate effectively and follow directions.</li> </ul> Special Requirements <ul> <li>Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.  </li> <li>General physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 lbs., walking long distances, bending and constant motion is often required.</li> <li>Ensure safe handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li> <li>Must be able to work multi-level floors, reaching up to 7 stories.</li> <li>May be exposed to theatrical smoke, strobe lights, pyrotechnics, intense sound, rapid motion video effects, smoke, and odors</li> <li>Must be able to work within an environment with loud noises and everchanging visuals.</li> <li>May be deployed to outdoor posts that may be exposed to triple-digit temperatures, UV rays, high winds, or monsoon weather.
