The Engineer uses software to generate drawings for custom window projects. The position reports to the <strong>Engineering Manager.</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities Include: </strong></p> <p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Use software; AutoCAD (2D,3D) or Autodesk Inventor to generate complete and accurate information for a given project.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Research and analyze the sales, estimating, and production requirements of a given order or window series.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Research and analyze the engineering product standards and requirements of a project.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Produce a complete submission package at an elevated level of accuracy in a timely manner.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Champion safety culture, quality, and process improvement.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong></p> <p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;High school diploma or GED is required.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Associate degree in an Engineering related program or equivalent industry experience is preferred.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Aluminum window experience is preferred, but other related fields are welcome.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Proven proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Basic knowledge of computers and preferred programs.
