font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist in developing cost estimates for small projects or defined scopes within larger projects.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost calculations using estimating software.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Gather and analyze historical cost data to support estimate development.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Compare subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accurate scope coverage and competitive pricing.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist in identifying and quantifying risks, opportunities, and key factors that impact project costs.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Learn and apply company estimating processes, including the use of estimating software tools such as On-Screen Takeoff, Agtek, or HCSS HeavyBid.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support the standardization of estimating methodologies by documenting best practices.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to gain a fundamental understanding of construction requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist in refining cost databases and tracking changes in material, labor, and equipment costs.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Work closely with senior estimators and project managers to understand project scope and deliverables.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Participate in bid reviews and pre-bid meetings to gain insight into estimating strategies.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Attend site visits to observe construction operations and understand real-world project execution.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to request and review quotes.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Engage in professional development through KeeleyU and other training programs.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Take initiative in learning new estimating techniques and software tools.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of two years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
