Database Consultant</strong> will be responsible for the integration, data migration and database-related activities required as part of the <strong>Kondor+ / Fusion Kondor upgrade</strong>.</p> <p>The role will analyse the existing Kondor+ integration and data landscape, assess impacts introduced by the target Kondor+ release, implement or coordinate required interface changes, support database upgrade/migration activities, and ensure the completeness and integrity of data throughout the upgrade.</p> <p>The consultant will work closely with the Kondor+ Solution Architect, Technical Consultants, Functional Consultants, client DBA/infrastructure teams and downstream application owners.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Kondor+ Integration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyse the existing <strong>Kondor+ integration landscape</strong>, covering inbound and outbound interfaces.</li> <li>Assess the impact of the Kondor+ upgrade on existing interfaces, APIs, message structures, file exchanges and integration components.</li> <li>Design and implement or coordinate required modifications to Kondor+ interfaces.</li> <li>Support integration between Kondor+ and surrounding systems such as:</li> <ul> <li>Market data providers</li> <li>Electronic trading platforms</li> <li>Payment and settlement systems</li> <li>SWIFT/messaging platforms</li> <li>Core banking systems</li> <li>General Ledger and accounting platforms</li> <li>Risk and regulatory systems</li> <li>Data warehouses and reporting platforms</li> </ul> <li>Analyse and troubleshoot failed Kondor+ interfaces and data-processing issues.</li> <li>Validate end-to-end STP flows through Kondor+ and downstream applications.</li> <li>Support API, messaging, middleware and file-based integrations used by Kondor+.</li> <li>Support interface reconciliation during SIT, UAT, migration rehearsals and production cutover.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Kondor+ Data Migration &amp; Reconciliation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyse the Kondor+ data landscape and identify data impacted by the upgrade.</li> <li>Define the data migration/conversion approach together with the Kondor+ Solution Architect and functional SMEs.</li> <li>Support migration or conversion of Kondor+ static/reference and transactional data where required.</li> <li>Analyse and validate Kondor+ data structures and dependencies.</li> <li>Develop SQL queries and reconciliation controls to validate migrated/upgraded data.</li> <li>Reconcile relevant data between source and target Kondor+ environments, including:</li> <ul> <li>Trades and transactions</li> <li>Static/reference data</li> <li>Positions</li> <li>Cashflows</li> <li>Market data where applicable</li> <li>Valuations</li> <li>Accounting balances/postings</li> <li>Interface data</li> </ul> <li>Investigate and resolve data discrepancies between existing and upgraded Kondor+ environments.</li> <li>Support migration dry runs and cutover rehearsals.</li> <li>Define data validation and reconciliation criteria for production migration.</li> <li>Support post-go-live data reconciliation and hypercare.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Kondor+ Database</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyse the existing <strong>Kondor+ database environment and dependencies</strong>.</li> <li>Support database-related prerequisites for the Kondor+ target release.</li> <li>Support execution and validation of Kondor+ database upgrade/conversion scripts.</li> <li>Analyse Kondor+ database schemas, tables and data relationships as required for troubleshooting, integration and reconciliation.</li> <li>Develop SQL scripts and queries supporting migration, testing and reconciliation.</li> <li>Support database backup, restore and rollback activities in collaboration with the client's DBA team.</li> <li>Identify database-related performance issues affecting Kondor+ processing.</li> <li>Support performance analysis of critical Kondor+ processes, including batch and EOD processing.</li> <li>Coordinate with client DBAs on database configuration, capacity, performance and operational requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Strong hands-on technical experience with Kondor+ / Fusion Kondor / Finastra Kondor.</strong></li> <li>Previous experience working on at least one <strong>Kondor+ implementation, upgrade or migration</strong>.</li> <li>Demonstrable experience with <strong>Kondor+ interfaces and integration mechanisms</strong>.</li> <li>Good understanding of the <strong>Kondor+ database/data model and data structures</strong>.</li> <li>Strong SQL skills and ability to independently interrogate and reconcile Kondor+ data.</li> <li>Experience analysing Kondor+ trade, static/reference, position and/or accounting data.</li> <li>Experience troubleshooting data and integration issues across Kondor+ and surrounding systems.</li> <li>Experience with APIs, messaging/middleware and file-based integration patterns used within Kondor environments.</li> <li>Understanding of treasury products and end-to-end trade lifecycle.</li> <li>Experience supporting SIT, UAT, migration rehearsals and production cutovers for Kondor+.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Highly Desirable</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous <strong>Kondor+ version upgrade</strong> experience.</li> <li>Experience migrating between different Kondor+ releases and/or technical architectures.</li> <li>Experience with the specific database technology used by the client's Kondor+ installation.</li> <li>SWIFT / ISO 20022 integration experience.</li> <li>Experience integrating Kondor+ with market data, payment/settlement, GL/accounting, risk and data warehouse platforms.</li> <li>Experience with Kondor+ APIs and modern integration patterns.</li> <li>Experience with large-volume trade/data reconciliation.</li> <li>Experience troubleshooting Kondor+ EOD/batch-processing performance.</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(26, 26, 26);">#LI-REMOTE</span></p>
