The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records. This role is essential in ensuring that materials are properly stocked, organized, and ready for production or shipment. This role will report to the Sr Manager, Production.</span></p> <h3 style="line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Material Handling:</strong> Safely and efficiently move materials, products, and supplies throughout the building using manual handling or equipment (e.g., lift, pallet jacks).</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Inventory Management:</strong> Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing materials. Ensure all items are properly labeled, tracked, and stored in their correct locations to maintain an organized warehouse.</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>KanBan:</strong> Replenish component kanbans throughout the day to enable the production team to stay on track for target completions.</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Work Orders:</strong> Pick parts for kits being put to the production line per work order pick list</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Cycle Counts:</strong> Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Order Preparation:</strong> Accurately pick and pack materials or products based on customer orders, work orders, or production schedules. Ensure the correct quantities and products are prepared for shipment or use.</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Stock Rotation:</strong> Implement inventory control practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out), to ensure materials are used or shipped in the appropriate order to minimize waste.</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Safety Compliance:</strong> Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Operate equipment in a safe manner and ensure the warehouse is free of hazards.</span></li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate records of materials received, moved, and shipped.
