This is an exceptional opportunity to become a part of Coupang’s growth in Taiwan and create a world where our customers wonder, “How did I ever live without Coupang?”       Role Overview & Reporting Structure We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a local hire in our Taiwan office. The successful candidate will be based in Taipei and will report directly to the VP of Global Tax. This role will oversee tax compliance in Taiwan while collaborating closely with both global and regional stakeholders to support strategic tax initiatives in Taiwan.   What You Will Do  Taiwan Tax Compliance & Reporting • Oversee corporate income tax filings, VAT, withholding tax, and other local tax obligations. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and disclosures. • Proactively identify and evaluate tax-saving opportunities in Taiwan. • Manage relationships with local tax authorities and support audits or inquiries. Tax Provision • Review and support Taiwan quarterly and annual tax provision calculations under IFRS and US GAAP. • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting. • Monitor and validate that Taiwan entities’ financial results are consistent with global transfer pricing guidelines.
